Don't expect to have a best speed.

I assume it is 1200Mbps and I can get maximum speed with decent operating conditions. My house is built in 2005 and the wiring system is pretty solid. The device has an indication light for the speed. The thing is that it is hard for me to get the green light speed and I'm not sure why. Mine is green light which is the best speed connection while there are no data traffic. However, it goes down toe amber, which is middle speed when there is a traffic. Not sure what can I do in order to get the best speed connection.

Works great if you need an Ethernet connection

We have so many connected devices, that our WiFi was overloaded, and our steaming was sluggish. Solved the problem immediately. Just connect this to your modem, plug one adaptor into a nearby outlet, then plug the other adaptor in where you want to use it. Quite simple.

No trouble set up---no problem home network

These freed-up our home "WIFI" for devices that that has no Ethernet ports. It is better than to use range extenders just to get a signal into out of the way rooms in our home.

Good product, worry about surges

We have surges here that knocked out $800 in network equipment through the coaxial in 2016

Difficult to run wire so I bought this. Works well but data speed could be better. Probably the wiring in the house
