I needed a network connection for my receiver which doesn't have wireless. This was literally as easy as plug in, push a button and done. Performance has been great and previous experience with netgear products has been very positive so I world expect dependability.

Recommended by a friend, thought I’d try out the newest generation of the powerline adapters. I’m using this with a HP laser printer that does not have wireless capability and is also a longer distance away from most of my other network gear (on another floor, opposite side of the house). This unit works well even when the printer goes into deep power-save mode too which is very nice. I set up a wireless client on all of our PC's for it with a fixed IP address, and now we can get there from anywhere we have network coverage. Even works from a Samsung phone too after installing HP print service app. I’ve tried some other brands for this application and found them to not work well in this situation where the client goes into a deep sleep or is perhaps turned off for an extended period of time, so this Powerline 1200 works great for me. Might be a bit of overkill as this unit is also claiming to support 4K video too, but it was money well spent for me.

These were easy to set up and work well to extend my network where wireless or a cable isn't feasible. Although I don't get Gigabit speeds it's ok because the internet gateway tops out at 20MB.

The device gave a more consistent input but was not much faster than my wireless so I return it.. I will say it may be more the Xbox issue than the device but I ran a cable and there is no lagging

I have been a Netgear customer for over a decade. This adapter is working excellent and holding up to intense gaming on the Alienware Aurora Gaming Computer even on Steam games without lag or connection loss in a remote area of the house. Easy to use and setup.

This device is amazing and much better than using wifi. I've been searching a device like this forever. e. Easy set up. Hook one to the router with the ethernet cord. And use the other for your xbox hard wired.

Very simple set-up! Hooked up first box to router. Second box in my basement to a gigabit Ethernet switch for my PS4, XB1, TV, DVR. Ethernet > WiFi. All day, everyday! Other note: Do not plug in to surge protector, plug into wall directly, this is the best way it will work!

This was definitely the best way to connect my older computer in the bedroom to the router in the living room. I simply plugged it in and was instantly connected, without stringing wires all over the house or buying a new wireless computer.

Setting up and using this product is very easy. You don't have to put holes in your wall and repatch to get a land line connection. I have used this product for a few months and I intend on purchasing more for other rooms.

Easy to install, worked really good as an alternative to Wi-Fi for both my PS4 and DIRECTV DVR. Speeds are more consistent than Wi-Fi and I haven't been dropped yet while playing games.

I bought this product to get a hard wired connect from my main tech hub to our playroom (PC, Smart TV, gaming console). It was simple to install. The performance is good enough for YouTube, Amazon, Netflix, and web surfing. Perfectly solves my particular use case.

The product itself was fine but I had a challenging area under a reception desk that it had to be plugged into, no where else would work. I have hard-wired CCTV and the DVR must be connected by ethernet cable to the router so it will function properly. My router is in the basement, which is why I needed the adapter. The signal was not strong enough. The technicians at CCTV confirmed that the camera system needs a direct connection to the router. I returned the item.

These powerlines work great and will transfer at the speeds advertised. I really like how easy the setup was, just plugged them in and they automatically connected to each other, works great with my 4k tv to stream movies to.

I was using WiFi before in my house and getting very low speeds. I installed this which took about 1 minute, then my speed went from 10mbs to 110mbs. It wont be as fast as an Ethernet but so much better than WiFi and no cables running through the house

This worked surprisingly well. I wanted wired Internet upstairs for my 4K TV and 4K Blu-Ray, and Sony Soundbar system. It was sure a lot easier than running cable from downstairs. Speed must be OK as have no buffer issues.

Didn't think I would need a wifi extender in my townhome, but was advised that this would help for a room that was showing weak or no signal or dropping the signal at times. This worked like a charm! Easy to install and fixed the issue!!
