Consistent but not as Fast as I Hoped

My wireless router was on the other side of the house. Wife's laptop was getting drops and such. With my 45 year old wiring, while the connection was consistent, it was slower than a good WiFi n/ac signal by about 35%. Movie streaming performance was not impressive at my place. I ended up just running a wire back to the switch. But, they do work in a pinch and for a temporary/casual or printer connection that does not have WiFi. (Mother-in-law staying in your office/second bedroom for a week and you need your wired junk temporarily elsewhere? This will do it for ya!) No help for that hairspray smell, from the M-I-L, however. ;)

This product worked but my apartment wiring is old and sucks so it didn’t well so I would recommend a more modern house to use this for!

We bought this to get a more stable internet connection. Our Cox wifi seems unstable during high winds. This does the trick. I’m not certain it is faster than wifi, perhaps comparable but definitely more stable.

Got this for my neighbor. He and his daughter were competing for wireless bandwidth. He put his laptop on this for wired performance for his work and was happy with it.

Living in a ranch style house, we were unable to use phone or iPad in other parts of the house. With the help of the sales staff we decided on the 1200 adapter. What a difference it has made. We are so pleased with this purchase because we have had no down time in being connected to WiFi.

I have Fios for internet and needed to connect my work PC to it, (there is no wireless option for my work PC) I didn’t want to have to move my modem, so bought this. Had it for about 2 months, and has worked well.

Got these so I could wire 2 security cameras and reduce the number of devices using wifi. These work great. My wifi signal is greatly improved and so is the quality of the image on my cameras now that they are wired.

My son was having issues with his XBox, the screen kept glitching and would cut out right in the middle of a game. We originally thought it was our internet, but once that checked out, we went and purchased the NetGear Adapter and have not had a problem since.

Simple solution to get my 13 year old, who is always gaming, off WiFi. He is happy and no longer complains about buffering or the speed being too slow. I am no longer having problems getting on my own wifi with my laptop!

You must be aware that this cannot go into surge protectors in order to use it. I had to return product because of this because surge protector in garage. Connects with wall plate only. I am sure that this product will help people who have wall plates available to expand their internet.

I bought this for my Ooma telo system and it works perfectly. It was plug and play with very little setup required. If you need a direct internet connection when theres only wifi available, and you can connect one end directly to a modem, this will solve your challenge.

I bought a different brand with 4 ethernet ports but it didn't work. Took it back and swaped it for this one and added a 4 way switch. I hooked up two devices to it and have room for 2 more. It's working fine.

I had a deadzone in my house. I didn't like my options for a wifi extender for my house. I learned that you can use your electric outlets with this adapter. It works great! I hooked it up to a splitter to have 5 wired connections in a place that didn't have any internet access previously.
