This was extremely easy to set up. I plugged one into my router, plugged it in to an outlet, then plugged the other into a outlet on the wall by my computer and plugged an Ethernet cable into it and I had a Local Area Network connection to the internet! It was fast, but I still wasn't getting the speeds I knew I was capable of, it was slower that connecting my computer directly to the router. It depends very much on the wiring in your house and that might have been the problem in my case. I would recommend this if you had no other way to get a connection to a computer far from your router.

Have to buy for my son’s ps4 given that the PS4 don’t get 5g speeds. This was the perfect solution with no lag online gaming and fast downloads. Make sure not to use multi plug works better in direct outlet connection.

The Netgear Powerline 1200 provides fast access and is a reliable Ethernet adapter for my Apple TV, Apple AirPort Express, and solar panels. It captures information from my panels and provides a detailed monthly summary of my energy use.

Worked as advertised. Bought it as a more direct connection to my TV to take the TV load off the Wi-Fi. However, when the adapter is plugged in it makes my older Microsoft wireless keyboard keyboard unusable. Something about the way the adapter operates creates interference on the same frequency as the keyboard. I can use one or the other, but not both. Disappointing. Decided to keep it as a backup for specific situations, but not for everyday use. Back to Wi-Fi for the TV.

Was having issues with lag on my ps4 so I decided to give this a try. I have to say very satisfied with the speed and no lag anymore now that it's connected directly.

This product was easy to install and didn't require running actual ethernet cord from our wireless internet box to the smart TV. It was a great solution to our problem of not being able to connect the TV to out internet network. It does, however, go in and out with signal, and occasionally the TV looses the connection and has to be turned off and then on again to reastablish the connection.

I bought this to connect a PC upstairs that was having poor wireless signal issues. I had tried adding another AP, extending my wireless, etc but kept coming up with consistent connectivity issues. I was almost ready to hard wire a connection when I came across this solution. It's too hot to climb in the attic, and I'll be selling my house within a year or so. So this solution worked out great. In fact I heard they make another model that has a pass through power plug if you have to keep the wall outlet for something else. Very easy. I didn't enable the security on it since online reviews indicated that it wasn't needed due to distance so no one will be getting into my network. If you live on zero lot line neighborhood, I would enable the security just in case. Great product, been using with zero interruptions.

There is no stability issues from this product, wish I could say that about my router. Right out the box this product works with no installation of software. Connection is blazing fast and there is no cross talk in the walls

These are solid Ethernet over power adapters. I haven't had any issues with their functionality. The size is a bit over bearing and can be awkward when trying to plug a poet cable into the uncovered outlet. These will likely not give you the internet speeds you are paying for. I have a 200 Mbps plan and get about 80 through these. It heavily depends on your house wiring. If the house is old then expect that your speeds will be throttled. Newer homes may get higher. Ultimately do your research and have a reasonable expectation of speed and stability.

I only needed to go 6 feet from my router to my TV. But there was a door in between. So it was run a 25 foot wire or buy the Powerline. Needless to say this was much easier. Easy to install and easy to set up. Works great.

I bought this to try because I have a bedroom where wifi just can't penetrate. As a word of caution, these tend to only work if both outlets are on the same side of the circuit breaker box. Mine worked great, easy to setup (just a push of a button) and indicator lights to let you know the average transfer speeds. Best of all it does not block the other outlet plug. If you don't have wired ethernet in home, this is a great solution to keep your internet speed from losing speed over wifi.

This device solved my issue with poor wifi signal in the farthest part of my home. The speed is Ethernet speeds without running cables, cutting holes in my walls, or paying for an electrician. This exceeded my expectations.

After purchasing a Samsung Smart TV on Black Friday, Everything worked fine, until I turn off the TV. When attempting to access my Amazon streaming service, my network settings had all disappeared, and I had to re-enter. After re-entering the settings, it would always work fine, however, I had to re-enter these settings every time I turned on the TV. The TV would not retain the WI-FI Network settings. Google searches showed that many users had this same problem, and after spending about 5 hours on the phone and chat lines with Samsung support, they were of no help whatsoever. Not going into additional detail, although my old Samsung(not a SMART TV) worked fine for years with my Amazon Fire stick, using my WI-FI. Samsung suggested connecting my TV directly to my router as a wired connection, but I wasn't going to run Ethernet cables from my 2nd floor loft to my 1st floor Family room. After discovering the Netgear Ethernet Power Adaptor, I decided to give them a try. The package includes 2 adaptors with Ethernet ports. Each device is plugged into a power outlet. One is connected to a port on the router, and the 2nd one is plugged into the Ethernet port in the Netgear device that you plug into an outlet near your TV. Two 6ft Ethernet cables are included. There is no router configuration required. The entire setup described above took less than 5 minutes. Afterward, I just changed my network settings from Wi-Fi, to hard wired in the TV network settings, and after 2 months, I have never encountered the loss of my settings again. Extremely happy with this purchase.
