Great product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We run everything through wifi in our home except my work phone which before now had to be plugged directly into the modem. When we moved to our new home, the modem was on one floor and my office was on another floor making it impossible to plug directly into the modem. The adapters allowed me to essentially plug the phone and modem into the nearest outlets near each device then as if by miracle, each work perfectly. No issues with slow wifi or dropped calls

Pass-Thru = great, PT + Dual Ports = BETTER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A friend who'd already purchased powerline adapters warned me in advance to look for unit;s with a pass-thru outlet. So, let's get the praise out of the way -- technically they are great and the pass-thru is helpful. Now, for the rest of the story: I thought I was so smart - until I discovered that I needed dual ethernet ports and NG doesn't make one with both pass-thru + dual ports. Also the top surface of this powerline adapter juts up too high above the 3-prong outlet so you can't plug in another grounded plug above it into the outlet. The ground wire just won't go in. Period. [Don't you just hate it when that happens?!?!] In other words -- where are you going to plug in your UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) if you can't share that same outlet, you can't plug it into the pass-thru without getting a wiring issue alarm -- and your UPS and or computer don't have extremely long cords that will allow you to situate your UPS across the room plugged into another outlet? (None of them have long cords. Trust me). Didn't someone test these powerlines out with a UPS + PC and and realize that they don't share well with others. #DesignFail

Great Alternative to Hard-Wiring
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this not knowing if it would really do the trick, but I absolutely love it! Works just as fast as running CAT-5 lines through the wall and floor, considering my router is downstairs. I am receiving my promised data speeds (50Mbps) just as if it were hooked directly to the router. I primarily use this for my laptop upstairs (wireless is very weak) and the blue-ray player. I plan on adding an additional one to dedicate to the blue-ray and TV.

Got no cables to hold me down
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my mother's home as she did not want to hire an electrician to wire her older home with a bunch of cables. She loves the ability to be able to just unplug the receiver unit and move throughout and outside of her home to have complete freedom and not the risk of broadcasting her secured data over wi-fi. Great wi-fi replacement if you are looking for an alternate resource other than wi-fi.

Recommended by my cable guy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a Casita that's not connected to the house and our neighbors have high speed internet and their wifi is often the signal that shows up first. My cable installer recommended the plug in and Inhavento say our tenant gets a solid connection. It's still a lot slower than I'd like, but that is the nature of wifi. Point is, it works and it's a solid connection to our network.
