Had location a longer distance than could reach with wifi. Plugged extender into unit and got what we needed

Creates some inerference in speakers when plugged into the same outlet as home theater system.

I bought this adapter after reading multiple reviews saying that this adapter couldn't reach the advertised 1200 Mbps, but could easily reach half of that. Since I pay for 300 Mbps and was tired of having a Cat6 Cable stretched down the hallway, I decided to try and make the jump to this adapter. Worst decision I've made in a while. My network speed tests max during non-peak hours at 57 Mbps download, with frequent dropouts and delays. I've tried moving it to different circuits and dedicated power outlets, all with no luck on improving the speed. At this point my wifi is better. I'll be returning this tomorrow. If you only need 30-50 Mbps for your streaming TVs, this may work for you. It does not work for heavy gaming and programming work.

Works very well, pick any 2 outlets in your home and now you have internet to/from. Extremely easy to set up.

Simple "plug-n-play" using existing electrical conductors. Good for rooms that do not have Cat-5 wiring.
