Depends on the distance you are trying to use this. Close by it works well, but as you get further from the base unit, the speeds drop drastically.

The NETGEAR power adapter works good but you have to make sure that the outlets you use are in line and that makes it a little difficult.

I had too return this product because it gave me worse connection than my wifi. The only time I got a good connection was when I had nothing plugged into the front of either of them. Why make the option too plug my surge protector strip into the front if it refuses too work properly with anything plugged in? Stuuupid!

Not sure if it was my house, me or the units, but they did not work, so I returned them. The instructions weren't clear, so I was never sure if I was hitting the buttons at the correct time (I even tried using wall sockets on the same wall and it didn't work). I have the wireless ones and those work fine, I was just hoping to get a little more speed to the remote parts of the house.

I bought the system when I changed service providers to get internet in a distant room. They do work don't get me wrong but they are very fussy. They can not be on a power line or same plug with a surge protector. They also will backfeed through your audio if it's plugged into the same plug or circuit. Try them you might be happy as they do work. But there are better options out there.

This didn't work for me because my smart tv wasn't too smart and didn't have a plug... only wifi

Substanstial loss in mbs through power outlet. I would not recommend this for long runs.

I got this so I could wire my TV since the wireless on a Vizio is not the greatest. I was unhappy to read that I could not plug this into my APC since in Fl storms are frequent and "brown outs" are too. Went with nighthawk AC1900 to boost my signal and send it stronger to the TV, works great.

This paired set did not connect at high speed and frequently had to be removed and plugged back in. The distance between them was not that far, but I must have some power issues causing noise on the lines. Hit or miss technology, I returned for a high end Netgear wireless extender.

The device is very limited and does not offer much in terms of its restrictions on the box. Works well if both are plugged into the same room. It will blow a fuse if you run it 2 or more rooms over. They should be on the same fuse.

Got this to connect desktop on bottom floor of 3 story condo. So slow and cuts out. Was told that it was fast but I have 100mbs and can only manage 22. Have a appt. with in home consultant next week to figure out my wifi woes. We hope to return .

This network adapter gives me 1/4 of the speed of my Comcast internet service speed of 75 Mbps. Sometimes it drops to 2-3 Mbps. I'm certain it's connected correctly. I also spoke to their tech support to verify. This is a weak barely effective Ethernet alternative.

It didn't help me get better connection. My "bars" actually go down when I plug in. Even when I'm in the room with my internet! What's up with that? If I could find my receipt, I'd return it.

I bought this product thinking it would effectively boost my wifi signal in blind spots throughout my home, but it did not. I'm sure this would be more ideal for people who live in one story homes or apartments, because the range is not that great.

Got excited for a short time. I started experiencing not enough bandwidth after a week of install. Ended up switching back to WiFi connection. It’s better to get a stronger router and relocate it.

This could be something with me power in my house ( I use a lot ) but I couldn't get it to connect in my home so I returned it.
