Great solution to smart TV being out of range - fo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The geek squad had to come out and make sure our 60 inch smart Tv was not defective because it worked at first with Netflix and then the signal was not strong enough for my service - We knew we had the fastest speed possible but the TV needed a stronger signal to do updates and to pick up NETFLIX etc. We spent about a $100 and it works perfectly now:) A stronger booster was not needed and way more expensive - the hook up was simple!

Easy to set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found the device easy to set up. Got an internet connection very quickly. i wanted to use this as my tv is quite far from my router and I am not getting a very strong signal at my tv for Roku. However, I must have quite a bit of noise on my lines as the connection speed was not better than wifi. Returned but may work if power lines are better than my old house.

Excellent solution to networking problem.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been working with computers since the 1970's, and rarely have I seen a fix to a problem work so well. The wireless adapter connecting my computer to the house router had failed, and the computer would not boot properly. This power-line adapter solved the problem completely--the machine boots properly and runs faster than before. Kudos to the salesman who recommended this product to me!

Great alternative to boost wi-fi signal!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was recommended by a Best Buy associate. It works as advertised and boosted by in-home Wi-Fi signal to the other side of the home. Worth the money!!

Easy Plug n Play
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The upstairs bedroom had spotty Wi-Fi and no hard ethernet. This gadget plugged into the available 110v outlet and, instead of using it for a single PC, I added an Insignia 4-port hub and connected 2 gaming PCs to it. Downstairs, I plugged the other unit into an outlet and then used the ethernet cable to connect to the router. Instructions were simple. The gamers are happy with excellent throughput.

Not too shabby
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works as advertised except for the speed which is typical of a lot of devices. In this case especially, since it's an older house and has older power line wiring. Very difficult to run new Ethernet cables as well, so this network solution worked great. Now I get efficient wired speeds to my clients on the other side of the house where Wifi was around 5 mbps.

Works Great - Easy Setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great alternative if you are having speed issues with your wifi. Hard wire devices in with this. Plug and play. Has been very fast and reliable.

Works better than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not expecting very fast speeds as this connection was going to be shared by an XBox, and Wifi AP, and a TV. Turns out, while I do get slower speeds on device side of the connection versus the internet modem side, it is not so dramatic that I can't stream HD movies, or download large games and files. I am happy and may buy one more to enable my printer to be located somewhere away from a network jack.

Okay product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Signal strength is hit and miss from time to time. Still cheaper and easier than running a CAT5

Perfect solution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't have CAT cable throughout the house and needed to get the signal two floors down. Was the perfect solution. 200mbps at the modem, approx 95mbps at the other end (hard wired). That's through a second circuit in the house. Plug both ends upstream of the surge protectors. Note - the box WILL get in the way of the second plug in the outlet if you're trying to use a 3 prong plug (with ground).

Bought 2 pair, was only able to use 1 pair
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two pair of the Power Line Adapters. (SET 1- A & B, SET 2- C & D) My Internet router is at one end of my house where I placed one adapter (A) which was connected to the router and the Master Bedroom is at the other end is where I connected the other adapter (B) to the TV. By following the instructions I was able to pair these two adapters (A & B). It works great for accessing internet functions on the smart TV in the Master. My wife was able to watch Netflix which made her happy. However, I have a desktop in the middle of the house that uses WIFI to access the Internet. I wanted to be able to use this second set of adapters (C & D) to improve internet response time. I connected one of the adapters (C) to the router and when I paired the adapter (D) for my computer, I lost all WIFI. None of my tablets or other WiFi dependent devices could access the internet. I assumed that since I my home was wired in 1976, this solution will not work for me. So, I returned one pair of adapters (C&D). I will have to find a way to run an Ethernet cable between the Desktop and router. Although, I had difficulties with the second set of adapters, I had no trouble installing, setting up or using the first set (A&B). I'm not sure what the solution is for me to add adapters.

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install and noticed a difference with the wifi in other parts of the house. Didn't fix all my issues but the cable company is to blame for that.

Simple fix for a common problem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this device to correct the lack of a built in wifi card in a tower I rebuilt. While pci cards are available as well as USB wifi plugins, this device allowed me the stability of a hardline Ethernet connection to my router without the cost or trouble of running Ethernet cables below the house. Installation is simple and only limited by the proximity of a power outlet.

Good alternative to new router and repeaters
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this powerline box to connect an internet tv box to my router as wifi wasn't cutting it with buffering. Just had to plug the powerline box into the outlet and hook it up to the router and tv box using Ethernet cables. No more buffering! I also hooked it to another powerline box to connect to my voip box and it too is working with the router.

Great but your MMV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This worked great for me once I found a good outlet combo. I do experience speed drops from time to time but nothing to terrible. Much better than the wifi I was working with. When purchasing, be prepared to have to return it. If you can't find a good outlet combo this will be mostly useless. Ethernet over power can be very picky.
