Easy plug-in set up for a beginner. Initially, I had some issues setting-up but the Netgear help support staff I called assisted me with the process and now I'm able to use wireless connection throughout my apartment! Great buy too!

Does not choke when multiple streaming requests are demanded. In my sister's 2-story 3,000+ square foot home, signal strength never falls below 3 bars (out of 5) in the house and basement. This device addresses both the "plug it in and forget it" novice and the gearhead techie. For novices, this device's installation is so easy that this review took more effort then setting up the Netgear RangeMax Dual-Band. Literally. For tech heads, there is plentiful options and settings to fine-tune your particular installation.

I bought this router to replace the prior bigger version of the same model, that after 5 year of great use; it started to drop the connection and needed constant rebooting. Needless to say that though smaller in size this model sets up and picked up where the other left off... Very happy with it!

I spent a few hours reading the specs of all the major brands as well as comments about each of the wireless routers before selecting the Netgear. I've had it for about a month and a half without any problems. It practically set itself up and the three networks comes in handy. I have two tablets, two smart phones, three laptops two wireless television connections and two wireless printers all connected without any issues. Very satisfied with this product!

This is a good router for my needs. Set up was easy. (Caution - the yellow Ethernet cord does not go in to the yellow port. Maybe it is a no brainer for others but for me it just made sense that yellow goes into the yellow.) This gives good Wi-Fi coverage for my 2300 square foot two story condo.

A good high speed router that carries signal enough for video streaming. Compact and light. installation is a breeze. Replaced an older, slower router and moden when we switch to cable from DSL.

Easy install and setup. The range is good and speed is fast enough for what I need it for. I have an average sized home, 1500 sq ft and generally I get good signal.

Very good for the price. I originally purchased this to act as a hub for child access using OpenDNS. That worked fine at first. Now the box is refusing connections and the like. Hopefully, it is just an issue with my provider (that hardware changed THEN I started having the problems).

This router has good speed and acceptable distance but I wish the distance were better. At 100 feet with only a window obstructing the router the speed and signal strength is significantly degraded. It works decently for a small or medium size home but I would never get this for a large home.

This router works great. It was easy to setup and covers the area needed. Everyone in the office has their cell phones and laptops running off of this router and everything seems to work great.

This Is a great router. We frequently stream Netflix and YouTube from our home TV, we also have two computers, 4 phones, iPads and an Xbox running from this router, and we've never had an issue with anything running slow.

Purchased item after previous router broke. Easy set up right out of the box and password provided worked well and no security related issues. I have not experienced any issues so far connecting several wireless devices to this router and getting a signal within a 2,500 sq. ft. house.

Having bought this unit over a year ago, it is still going strong! It has worked much better than previous routers, including those provided by the cable company. I bought this upon the recommendation of the associate at Best Buy, and I am so glad that I did!

I mostly got this so that I could play Xbox at the other end of the house. It works great for that. I went through 4 walls and was about 150 feet away from the router. No problems. And this is a lead based paint house. If you want reliability in signal, this is the way to go for not too much money. It does come with a "Netgenie" program that likes to run minimized in your tray the whole time. Close that as soon as you can. It's pointless and a resource hog.

We use this router to get internet in our office. We connect it to our main router. It does a great job and allows for us to do everything we need. Runs both computers well and lets us download and upload at great speeds. We are very happy with this router! Also it's not a bad looking device :)

I needed a new router and this one seemed to have all the features I was looking for and a reasonable price. It was easy to connect and performs better than I could have expected.

So I purchased this in 2017 because the other brand router was always giving me issues. So after doing research I found this router. It is 2019 now and it has not given me any issues. I don’t have to be resetting it frequently (although you should once in a while so I randomly do that, mainly after a power outage due to weather). I love this router, it has given me so much peace in the house with the kids and husband happy to watch movies over the internet without having issues. I definitely will stick with Netgear for anything in the future.

This was so simple to install. We bought for my husbands parents just before Mother's Day. So far, no complaints. Can't really give an honest review because I don't use it every day. Wifi works fine on my phone when I go to their house because they let me have the password.

I have a decent size home and I use approximately 5 devices in my home daily. This router does great! I especially like the Netgear Genie which allows me to see my network status, retrieve my password if I need to and it also allows me to see my WiFi connection. It's a good product.

Very easy install and configuration, great coverage for a large spece(5,500 sq ft over 3 levels). Great performance with multiple devices
