bought this router for the dual band/cost/features for the price and then setup the cell phones/computers/wifi devices in the house on the 5gighz band and setup the ps4 by itself on the 2.4gighz band as i dont have a ps4 pro and cant utilize the 5gighz band. but hey.. thatll be an upgrade in the future. fantastic service and extemely easy to setup using the web interface. very easy to connect and upgrade from my previous router. works great using wifi only with my cox package and have had zero issues with lag/streaming things on the apple tv and ps4 etc. highly recommend the router.

Family saw improved internet speed after switching to this product. It was easy to setup. Great parent controls blocks inappropriate content based on the settings you chose - great feature for families with kids.

This isn't the newest model of the Netgear routers, but it is the second one (to use elsewhere) we have purchased because it is easy to set-up and use. We have had no problems with this brand or model. Very pleased with its operation as well as it's smaller size.

I have DSL at my college apartment and was given a modem router from the internet provider. My internet would constantly drop. Bought this router along with a DSL modem and it no longer drops and seems to be faster than my old modem/router.

The set up for the Netgear router is easy and instructions are clear. The product is attractive on a shelf next to my desk. I have used Netgear products before and have been very happy with their performance.

Its Ready to go straight out of the box, great and easy to use. The only thing that was different is that the router comes with your password already programmed, so it was minor to me but for those that want to create there own password you may not be able to.

This was a Chritsmas purchase. This router is very easy to set up. We are able to keep multiple devices online without any problems. The Best Buy sales associate recommended this product and it very much suits our needs. We are very happy so far with this product!

This wireless router was easy to intall with their instructions. I had no problems and connected my dessktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone and TV. I previously had a D-Link, this probuct is superior.

I have had this router for about 2 -3 yrs now and Its been the best router I have ever bought. If you play games online via PC,PS3,PS4 and Tablets. Which is what we have in a townhouse. And no problems for as long as I had the thing. The sales guy at Best Buy suggested this router specifically gaming and he wasn't lying. What a buy. Thanks Netgear and Best Buy. Oh and sales guy!

Wish it had a longer range with after 44 feet get very weak but I live in an old metal in wall apartment. But that 44 feet is when I am at my neighbors house behind a door with more metal in the walls look up something. My older router had a longer range but ran hot and died after 2 years, this one is very cool.Everything else is exceptional the android app and software for the computer is easy to use and the parental control to restrict connection is just what I needed. I believe it would work great in a different house so do not worry about the range too much. On this router I am usually running max 2 Xboxs and 3 computers with no slow down. I have Charter cable so speed is not a problem.

Easy set up even for a person that isn't very tech savvy. Works great. Great home coverage. Works great throughout the house even with multiple devices running at the same time. Great product

It's small in size so it don't take up much room on my desk. Very easy to hook up. Great price! Also we have a large apartment and we stay connected in every room.

We've had this wireless router for a little over two months now and have had zero issues. Router delivers internet at high speeds. The setup was VERY easy and was up and running in 10 min.

I bought so I didn't have cables all over the house. Very easy to hook up. Not crazy over how you have to go on line to change the pass word a little time consuming. I don't have any dead spots its powerful enough to get it out in the garage

I bought this router because I needed to run several laptops in my house. It was easy to get everything done. I was using it within minutes of opening the box. It has enough strength to work in all areas of my house, even sitting out on the porch.

Picked this one up after having old one for 10+ yrs and decided to go with same brand since other one lasted so long. Installation was done in 5 min. Works perfectly with 7 devices. Small and doesn't take up much room.

I bought this router as I had an old model for 7 years that worked fine but was outdated. It was very easy to set up and we are able to use 4 smartphones, two laptops, two kindles an alarm system, a printer and a game system without any issues at all. The signal is strong all over the house and in the yard. I can't stress enough on how easy it was to set up. just plug in the modem and add the password to all my devices, That's it! excellent product for the low price.

I bought this item on sale & its well worth your money. I'm a hard core gamer & was upset with my previews old router I had I drop signal like crazy or lag. This netgear router has been SPECTACULAR hasn't dropped any signal & the range is also good. I haven't lagged at all I run 2 Xbox ones, 1 laptop for homework, a tablet for my son & his videos, my wife's cell phone device & still have a strong connection. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I purchased this for my mother's apartment -- a long narrow space with five rooms, with the cable modem at the far end of the apartment. I was pleased that the range was excellent, the set up very simple, and the security settings easy to manage.

I bought this router a few months ago because the last one was old and I kept losing the signal multiple times a day and so far this router has worked out perfectly with no issues. Great speeds, good features, and the signal never gets lost.
