I have always used NetGear products both for business and for personal use. It was no surprise to me that this router was perfect. Easy to set up, easy to maintain, and great signal strength. I personally take advantage of both 2.4 and 5 Ghz speeds. For example, all of my devices that run online games and/or stream video I connect to the 5GHz connection. Anything else that doesn't need as much speed as possible, I connect to the 2.4GHz and it's all perfect! I would most definitely recommend this router to both new, intermediate, and experienced users!

I have this same router at my home and I absolutely love it for the price, have had no problems with it what so ever and thought it would be good for my mother who I just bought a laptop for and it is also a very easy set up.

The router performs as I would expect. Easy to place into use. I would rate it higher if it continues to perform in the long run. This is too early after purchase to give it high rating. I expect this to perform for 6 years or more.

I like this router very much. I find that it suits my family's needs very well. It was not so hard to set up and had some nice features. The Dual band 5G and 2.4g is nice. The guest network in nice too. I have lots of gear hooked up to this and it doesn't seem to slow down at all - 3 laptops, 2 desktops (wired), iphone, 2 ipods, xbox, wii, printer and an external hard drive for network storage! The only problem I had was that I wanted to hook my printer up through the ethernet jacks and this router will not do that. I didn't realize this was the case and I called customer support to get it rectified. The guys in India didn't realize this and tried to sell me extra tech support to set it up. Well and hour and a half later, I was told by the third guy that it can't be done. Netgear tech support is AWEFUL! As it turns out, it was no big deal to go wireless for the printer. It actually works great. You can set up the printer via the very handy USB jack too. The unit is great, tech support bad. All that said, I would recommend it, as long as you can handle some medium tech on your own. Two months in, no trouble.

I bought this to replace my problematic belkin router, which loses internet connection several time per day. so far, I rarely experience internet disconnection. The broadcast range of this router isnt the best, I have two walls in between the router and the place where i use my laptop. The speed is down from 100mbps to 20 mbps. however 20 mbps is still really good to me because i dont play online computer games. It is definitely one of the best low end router in the market. I highly suggest this if you dont play online video games. I also bought the 2 year geek squad replacement plan for this, still dont know how this plan work. lmao, whatever, i am confident this router can survive more than two years.

Works wonderful. Easy to set up (especially if you get the gentlemen to draw you a picture of what you need done). Decent range. Im glad I purchased this one instead of the most expensive as this is perfect for what I need.

After looking at what out there the sales guy at Best Buy said I would get great bang for my buck with this one due to the small space I was going to install it in and I have to say he was right

I bought this router to create a second WiFi network solely for my home office. After transitioning from an office suite to a home office I could sense my primary home router was struggling with the additional devices connected to it so after some research I decided to try and have a second home network created just for my work equipment. I’m satisfied so far! The router was easy to connect and setup. The software it comes with is very convenient rather than having to go to a website to access the router’s additional settings, which you can still do if you prefer. It sometimes loses signal strength but I blame my primary router for that. All in all, I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this product because of the reviews on it.Well it is the best purchase I made.Easy setup and very fast.I have to many things going at the same time and the wi-fi handles them all.

I replaced the original Cisco wireless router that came with the smart TV set-up from Best Buy and the Geek Squad. It had stared dropping the internet after three years, so that is probably pretty normal. Three years is probably a typical life span for a product like that. The new unit is a definite step up in that it is a little faster and has a little further range. It was easy to set up and works well for me. I use it at a range of about 50 feet from my furthest computer. The life time warranty is amazing .

If only everything else with setting up my home network was as easy as setting up this router. Easy set up and let's us access wifi all through the house and on the porches. Very pleased with this purchase.

I am pleased with this product. I was able to easily set it up and have connected various wireless device (smart phone, laptop,smart tv, magic jack telephone). The signal and speed of wireless has been as expected.

I purchased this to upgrade from a wireless G router so that I could use my 100mb/sec internet. It did the job, also future proofed us a bit. Easy to set up as well. Definitely recommend!

Overall, the Netgear brand has always been good to me. I wouldn't say I am a professional in networking but I have purchased 3 or 4 netgear items over the last decade and this router lives up to the tradition. The router was incredibly easy to install with very clear instructions and once it was hooked to my modem, set up was incredibly simple as the system guided me right through the process. After I was up and running on my laptop and my family's laptops I took to hooking up some other gadgets that had been waiting for a great wireless connection like my Directv wireless connection system (for watching on demand stuff). There is a big blue button on the side of the router that allows certain types of devices to connect themselves automatically! Pure Genius! and worked like a charm. Overall great router, my house is about 1600 SQ ft on the main floor and I get pretty good coverage all over even though the router is sitting in one corner of the house. The transmission speed is not quite the massive number they advertise, but I still get 12-15 MPS on average and that is plenty for everything that I am doing, even xbox on-line gaming. if you are looking for fast and easy, this is it!

I have purchased and used this wireless router for my apartment. It is vey easy to install, reasonable price and gives out good signals. I purchased a wireless router from another manufacturer a couple of years ago when I did not know a thing routers; thus, I simply used an Ethernet to connect with it since the wireless light NEVER went on. Now that I know a whole deal about wireless networking, I will definitely recommend this product as it works for me.

This router is absolutely a breeze to install and setup. I pretty much does everything for you. Speeds are also very good and it has a decent WIFI signal. I wish more computer items were this easy to setup.

In a 2000 sq. ft. home, it allows for multiple devices to acquire signal throughout the home. We have a number of devices connected simultaneously and experience no lag in web surfing experience. The router itself sits upright, which gives it a sleek look without too much clutter of already busy space. It is much cheaper than renting a router from an internet provider. I've had it a few months (<6mo) and it has already paid for itself.

Easy setup and great speed. Love having the dual networks for the various machines in the house. It makes the wifi on the phones and tablets super fast.

This router replaces an older netgear I use as a network extender. Plugged it in, hooked up the network cables and it worked fine. This new one gives better coverage and is faster.
