For the cost and what it has to offer I am very pleased with its performance. It retains its easy setup and continues to be a reason why I go for netgear over linksys routers.

This Router was extremely easy to setup and has a great range, I use it for internet and streaming videos. I've owned many NetGear units, this like the others is an upgrade.

I was a little worried about going back to a router since I have bee using a Motorola modem with built in wifi. However my modem stopped working so I got a new modem and had to buy a router. So after some research I decided to get the Netgear N600 wireless dual band router. It was super easy to setup with the Netgear genie. The router has a lot of bells and whistle that I have yet to use, mainly because I have not had to use them. I have been using the router for a few months now and not one problem. Some routers that I have used in the past will periodicaly have to be reset for whatever reason. I have yet to have this problem. I would like to add that I have multiple devices connected to the router. Three smart phones, one tablet, laptop, one ps3 wireless, and one ps3 hardwired. No problems and no lag that I can notice. Rang is good as well. My one ps3 that is using the wif is in another room and upstairs. I ran the ps3 speed test and get excelent results. Online gaming works great!. Hope this helps.

Had setup complete in a few minutes and speeds are fast to every computer in the house. The parent controls are easy to set up as well, good router for budget minded family.

This router works great for a full two-bedroom apartment. I can get strong signal in any corner, and the speed is quite impressive. I am very satisfied with its performance.

Very easy to install does everything for you. I have a 3200 sf house two stories clovers everything except the front guest bedroom nothing a network extender can't fix

I bought this product a month ago to make full use of my new 30 mbps internet connection as my old router (NetGear WGR614 ) could not provide anything more than 10 mbps speed though it has been very reliable over many years now. I went to Best Buy to pickup a netgear n300 but after looking at the features of n600 like the dual band and good comments from the sales guy there i picked up this one even though it went beyond my budget. The installation was easy and quick, I did it myself going through the documentation but when i checked the download speed it was less than 10 mbps defeating the purpose of buying this product. I called up the customer service and there started my problem, first you need to register the product before you can call up the customer service. I explained the problem to the customer rep. in detail only to find out that he can only support basic questions like installation help, then the call got transferred to another person and again i had to explain right from the scratch. Eventually after changing a lot of router settings i got the required speed though the connection was not so reliable. Next day the same speed issue resurfaced and i had to call up the customer support again, i thought since i had the previous complaint number i can just quote it and don't need to explain everything again but they asked each and every question again and the call got disconnected in between. No one called back or sent a email follow up until a day later, by that time I googled and figured out the issue. Few recommendations from my experience: 1) This is a kind of high end router for a apartment especially if your internet speed is 10 mbps or low then go for a n300 or less costlier one. As in the case of any router, where you place it is very important to get reliable and faster connection. Keep it as high as possible. 2) If you do not have any devices in your home which can make use of 5 GHz band then you're not utilizing the key feature of this router. My work laptop and smart tv was capable of using 5GHz but my personal laptop was not. Anyway that is the reason behind going for dual band router. 3) The lifetime warranty thing has lot of clauses to it and may not necessarily mean that it will take care of all your problems. For examples the customer rep. will suggest you to take a package if you need life long support of your net gear product. only first few months you can get free support. Conclusion : While the customer support need to improve a lot the product itself is good and if you can get some good deal and pay around $60 then i believe it is worth it considering you don't need to do a upgrade probably for another two years.

Works well and easy to install. We had purchased another brand that we kept having to reset. This one we do not have to reset often at all and reaches the entire house.

This dual band router is perfect for any home. The strong signal reaches much farther than the old router we had and connects easily. Set up was easy and painless.

I bought this router at the direction of a home tech expert who I hired to find out why I kept having to reset the modem/router provided to our home by Verizon. He said their modem was fine but the router part was not adequate to relay a signal throughout our house, and this is why we constantly lost signal daily and had to reboot our router. We put one of these downstairs beside the modem & another upstairs--he hooked them together through power line adapters--and since then we have not reset our router once. This router was recommended by him as the best price for the quality we needed.

This router was very easy to set up and to connect to my computer, along with very good coverage throughout the whole house, also for me the price was right.

Our last router was a Netgear so we stuck with it and we're glad we did. This model is smaller than the last and works just as well!! It was so easy to install.

This router is much smaller and convenient to place than any previous one I have had. Easy install was indeed easy--yay! Couldn't ask for more.

I purchased this router to replace my 10 year old Belkin router. This was very easy to setup & I love the app! It works much faster for my streaming needs than my previous model. I love that the app lets me turn on & off a guest wifi account & lets me see everything connected to my network. I am also able to test the signal & speed of the network from the app as well. That makes using & resetting my wifi network (if needed) very easy & pain free. The router works great for my needs & my apartment size. I am very happy with my purchase.

Compared to my last router it is much faster and much greater range. Bought a lynksyd lynksys first but it was bad out of the box. This one was good out of the box

Really easy to install and set up for use. Gave us the ability to use more devices at a greater distance without fail. Very glad we chose this particular router.

Easy to set up, works very well with our smart tv , my wife`s laptop, our xbox and our smartphones. The price is not bad for the product and we are getting good use out of it . We live in a two story home the router is set up in our basement and it work though the entire house.

My old router finally failed. I purchased this Netgear on sale and am very satisfied. Easy to setup, and very fast. I would recommend this.

This was really easy to install/connect to my system. It works well with both laptop and iPad, indoors and outside. Signal goes through the door to the patio.
