This device hooked my house up with the right connection that is available in my area. Due to knowing not to rent and just buy a product instead to save on costs overall... this worked out for me. Descent Speeds nothing to crazy needed for light surfing and some streaming.

Performs adequately for current needs (streaming, internet, etc). if I need additional speed or upgraded requirements, will look elsewhere. Would recommend for basic needs only; if you are gaming, look elsewhere.

This is a simple modem. It is small in size so occupy very small place. It works great. I can get 40 MBPS download speed with this modem. I am using Google Router with it and that gives me 100% speed without sped loss.

So if you still need one of these like I did for my 90 year old Aunt, then you likely are familiar with modems in general and this is no specifically different with Netgear access menus on par with their other devices. Had to special order but came relatively quickly.

Was looking to replace an OLD failed DSL modem. Plugged it in and it worked right off. Easy hookup. Only concern when I bought it was if it would work with Centurylink. It does no problem! Best Buy sales associate was helpful.

This modem does not disappoint. It had every necessary setting that I needed in order to get on to CenturyLink Network, including being able to specify a VLAN for the DSL connection.And this thing is very fast too. It supports some of the latest DSL standards.

my old century link modem router kept dropping out. I got a new router with points so I only needed a modem. this modem has been good. I had to set it up with windows 7 computer. my widows 10 system didn't recognize it.

Replaced old router. Seamless transition. Satisfied.

Setup could be easier. It works good for frontier.

Even though the packaging indicated compatibility with century link tech support and I were unable to get the modem to work on a centurylink line.

For those still using DSL, this is the modem for you! I've since switched ISPs and no longer use DSL, but when I did, it was a true winner! And why not, it's a Netgear!

No matter how good it works you still have to get the secret code to enter the device and change software settings. It took around an hour talking to the "netgear" person to help me get settings and doing the reset. Since then it has worked flawlessly.

Was getting internet with century link and they wanted to charge for the modem so i brought this one cause it was on sale. I love. Ive had no issues and will buy again if i had to

I tried every way to reconfigure it using my Linksys AC1900 as a repeater but it just never worked. OK for a brief period but then went offline. My ADSL provider was Centurylink.

This was purchased to replace a Sagemcom Router/Modem Combo from Windstream that disconnected/reconnected multiple times per day. Using it with an older Netgear Wireless Router that still works well. Has worked consistently, virtually no connection drops, very pleased thus far.

Wanna surf the ocean? Then you don't need this, you need a surfboard. Wanna surf the web? Then that surf board won't do ya much good. That's where this sunnavagun comes in. Gnarly, dudes!
