could not get it to work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i called net gear to get help in setting it up as I could not get it to work..I got a foreigner on the phone and they wanted to charge me $99.00 to help me. I explained that I just bought it and their words again were in broken Philipino English $99.00..I hung up, packed up the net gear and took it back for a refund..no more net gear for me..

Great improvement over the supplied WIFI

The guest access is a very nice feature that I had been missing for a long time. The signal is reliable - I was having interruptions with the supplied wifi device from my ISP when running very long processes (I develop software and data warehouses). They went away once I installed this device.

Decdided to try despite recent failures.

Didn't work even with tech support from NetGear and CenturyLink on the phone at the same time. Gave up and took it back. NetGear claimed it had to be a bad modem, I chose not to spend anymore time trying.

Doesn't appear to be good with CenturyLink

After much work the second would connect but it disconnects at random times. I still had my old Actiontec which works better that the Netgear and I have found a similar Actiontec on Amazon which works great.
