This was recommended by Best Buy associate as the only modem that would work with my linksys wireless router. Works well. A little challenging to set up. Had to call my ISP, Linksys, and Netgear. Netgears dupport was the only one that was helpful.

I have century link DSL. Took me a few times, but eventually set up went great. I had to call century to get my PPPoE username and password. Also make sure you switch it to modem only mode.

I purchased this modem because I had trouble with a second modem from ATT. The NetGear modem has worked well. I also now have parental controls that I did not have with the ATT modem.

I purchased this because it was a great price and tried to use with Centurylink and did not want to purchase their modem. I had upgraded to 40 mbps but needed a new modem that would support VDSL2 and was bonded. I tried to make this one work but it does not and I do not think Netgear makes one that is compatible with DSL higher speeds. I would have liked it if I had a different provider. I returned it with no hassles. Bought one of Centurylinks.

Was easy to setup and does what it should. A lot faster than our old century link modem that we had. Our ping times literally were cut in half.

Works great. Very easy to install, and set up. Compact and very good instructions to use and troubleshoot. Would recommend to anyone to buy.

There really isn't much choice for Century Link customers who want to get their own modem. But it's not too expensive and works for one device (needs to directly connect). I still need to get a router for wireless devices.

Four weeks ago I went to Best Buy to find a replacement for my ZyXEL C1100Z that had become very disruptive to streaming. The Best Buy associate, without hesitation, handed me a NETGEAR DM200 and a NETGEAR D7000 Nighthawk. The combination proved to be the right product choices for my CenturyLink IP service. The setup was quick and easy, and the performance has been outstanding. Thank you Best Buy!

I bought this modem to replace the standard issue that comes from my wireless provider. Works great especially with the matching wireless router from Netgear

This unit replaced another Netgear router that was beginning to malfunction after three years. It is way faster and works quite well. I think it looks really ugly, while its predecessor was quite appealing and the lights always added to my desktop. New one has small, diagonal lights that always make it look as though it were tipping over. Also, installing it was a headache, because non-Verizon products require special attention...no fault of Netgear. Satisfied.

But then we had a storm and it quit working. Nothing else did though. Until whatever happened, it worked great.

Compatible with Centurylink. Easy to setup with the username and pw from Internet service provider.

It seems like we lose connection with the router, even though it shows that we are connected. Overall, we are happy with this router.

its very basic and very simple to set up. especially for elderly people. and the price was right

Was not fully working at its peak because of my internet provider but when it did work it was fast will hang on to for later date

NETGEAR - VDSL/ADSL Broadband DSL Modem is easy to set up and I use the Netgear Wi Fi router. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Worked very well for ADSL internet service, Please keep in mind that ADSL is not super fast be good for use in house hold with only one person playing video at a time.

this router give me a higher speed than the sonic stock router. and works perfectly.
