did not work with century link. had to return it. yup

Dealing with net gear support was an issue in trying to get things to work. All they wanted to do first was to sell me a support package and then they would help me. Had to deal with more than one person and was then transferred back to the first person that I talked with.

I attempted myself to install the unit but was unsuccessful. I brought over a networking friend who has a masters in electrical engineering and he also could not get the unit to work. I can only assume it is a refurbished, re-sold piece of junk that I paid the "new" price for.

I tried at least 3 times to set up. Finally called Geek Squad. Even he had a hard time talking to centurylink customer care and tech support and to netgears tech support with poor results. I stayed with the old modem and new netgear router. I'm happy.

It could have been our isp but we tried two different netgear routers before having a tech come out and the one he provided worked (also netgear) his only cause was that wed gotten two bad routers from bb back to back, try at your own risk

I installed it with help from my online Indian gentleman, the next day it would not work I returned it got a replacement and the following day it was still working, I do not know if it is still working now because I am on vacation.

Worked good for less than a year called netgear for support when it no longer worked with error of security certificate and netgear claimed no support for product and would not help at all

Spend many hours with customer support of Netgear, who tried very hard, but apparently the unit was defective. Century Link customer support also got involved but no avail! Bought something different altogether!

It worked well for about one month--now doesn't work. I am returning it tomorrow to Best Buy. (Fortunately, I bought an extended warranty but am hoping just to get my money back.)

Claims on box it works with century Link, mentions nothing of vectoring. So if you have new high speed dsl it will not work. Century Link will not help with 3rd party modems.

I bought this because I was told by Best Buy geek squad online that it will work and it is the best one to get. Come to find out it will not work for just att. So I had return it

Very difficult to get hooked up follow directions and still no luck bought geek squad but not sure what that includes need to ask for help very unhappy and frustrated

Did all the install properly. Called for tech support. They said it must be defective and to return it. I did get all of my money back. Happy with that.

Spoke with Century link and Netgear, both told me it should have worked. Whatever reason it didnt. Trouble shooted every possible thing. Whateva

I have spent too many hours with this unit, had to call Net Gear two times, ended up fixing problem my self, could not understand operator.

I bought the modem and can not connect internet at my apartment after tried several time. I return this modem and buy different one.

Ten months old and only used for 5 months at seasonal home. $59 product that Netgear wants $89 to assess.

I have a bonded service and thus modem does not work even though century link is listed as a supported vendor

Worked a little bit the first day,but not after. Returned to Best Buy & they gave full refund with no hassle.

I couldn't use it cause it was so bad called netgeart and they even said this is their worst model
