The techs were very patient with my husband in setting up his new desktop. They were also excellent at hooking everything up to our printer and our new HughesNet internet service. He still has a bit of a learning curve for the machine -- especially since it replaced one that we bought in 2009 (!) and had Windows 7 (!!) on it.

The in-stock squad talked me into having things done there, but they didn't do things correctly. My home visit by Carter Cain on 5-9 was great, fixed what the store didn't do.

Geek Squad did not tell me I needed to do a trial run so that I knew where all the "new" stuff was. Also have to sign in each and every time I use my computer. Duh...I am very very old and do not need to fix things myself. I had hoped for perfection but I did not get it. Unfortunately my son who was living with me at the time was quite ill and died the day after Christmas so I really have not had the heart to call the Geek guy back to my house. Also I need the font to be larger...Things like that.

These people are great! I, being a semi challenged lady of "age" was very pleased with the care I received, without judgement I might add. The repair was fairly simple, but even they were baffled as to why some things weren't working properly. They were honest in telling me about this, and very helpful in the suggestions I might consider. The very last option was to just buy a new computer system, which was offered with my budget in mind, which I also appreciated. My original computer system finally began working with one or two of their prior suggestions in ways to try to resolve it. I would highly recommend using this service. They even come to your home if you need them to. I sincerely appreciated this type of service. It doesn't happen everyday. Keep up the good work Geek Squad! B. Mack
