It’s more low profile than most of the budget ice makers, so it fits in more places. All these things mostly use the same basic components, so otherwise, it’s not very different. It makes the “fancy ice “ though, so that’s all that matters.

I absolutely love this ice machine, it makes ice so fast and it’s perfect for eating, it’s not to hard and has the perfect softness to chew on through out the day. I’m obsessed with it.

Taking this back tomorrow. I have had it over a month I have only used bottled Water and cleaned it multiple times following the directions. Today when I put ice in my cup I looked in the ice basket and there is a black residue. I have no idea where it has came from

We just reached a little over a year with this ice maker and now we have to say goodbye. Through pretty constant use with filtered water and normal cleaning, it finally tapped out. The issue appears to be the motor itself dying. Pros: -Plenty of ice for 2 people -Produces ice at a decent rate -Ice is a great consistency, definitely the “good ice” -Easy to clean -Not too loud Cons -Died a little over the year mark for us -Sometimes would get “stuck” during ice cycles and would cause a sound similar to a dying elk -Collects dust so cleaning can be frequent Overall, I’d recommend trying it, but probably opt for a warranty if you want it to last. I, unfortunately, did not.

I couldn’t be happier. This machine is far superior to the one I exchanged for it (which quite literally blew up). Perfect ice, produces quickly, clean cycle really does clean it. Only downfalls; I don’t understand why there is an on/off button. For that price I’d think that would make sense. And lastly it has this cheap rubber stopper on the bottom to drain. A better solution would have been something more durable. I can already see I’ll Need to replace this part. Other than that. We are pleased.

I purchased this as a gift for my neice and she loves it. After cleaning it, she said it started making ice in 10 minutes. She loves the ice! She did say for a small machine it made some noise but nothing that she didn't like!

We've lived with this ice maker for three months now, and we absolutely love it. If you refill the water throughout the day to get an abundance of ice, as advertised! To be expected, it makes a bit of noise as it works, but you tune it out after a while. We're so grateful that NewAir figured out how to make this nugget machine, as we've watched previous manufacturers fail. Glad we waited to buy this one. Worth every penny!

Have not had for a year yet and it makes this god awful sound

Machine makes very quick. Once full it stops until enough melts or is removed and starts back up. It is a tad loud when in use but not so loud you can’t hear people talk.

Works well. We enjoy the ice and makes it fairly quick. Just a little too loud when auger runs.

Really good for soft ice that doesn't hurt your teeth too much. Kinda noisy though

Great product, couldn't be happier! It fills up completely with ice in about an hour - hour and a half, It's very quiet, and it's not too big so it's perfect for any counter space. I highly recommend this product

Decided to purchased based on previous reviews. Great product. Only 2 cons i found so far is that the basket is kind of small and there is no on/off button. You have to unplug if you don't want the machine to run. I dont need the machine running at night. The noise is minimal, which is to be expected. But so far so good!

Great! The ice was perfect, but it only worked for 4 months. It started making this horrible noise and then a few days later it stopped making ice.

It makes perfect ice but its incredibly loud. The amount of ice it give might as well order the original nugget ice machine.

It's a little loud, but makes mugget ice quickly! We use it all the time and love it!

This makes it to where I don't have to go to sonic or chick fil a for ice again. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it.

Only giving 4 stars right now, since I just received this. So far so good, wish the bucket wasn’t so small, but it makes great ice. After having the GE Opal 2 (and returning it), I love the “Sonic” ice. The ice lasts so much longer than the bullet ice or regular ice cubes.

Overall a great ice maker. It's a little louder than I expected it to be, but I've become used to it now. No other complaints about the device thus far.

This is a great little ice maker, it pumps out ice pretty quick, love that it doesnt need a water line and instead uses refillable tank. Easy controls. Onky wish it kept the ice frozen. It melts and gets remade into ice.
