    Worked for about 6 months and started leaking water and soon stop making ice. Returned and received a replacement and pay a little more for a different name brand. The same thing happened again leaking water. So I stopped using it for a while. Tried it again this spring out on my covered patio so if it leaked it would not hurt anything. After a few hours it was making plenty of ice until I looked at the ice and it had black broken pieces of plastic and it was leaking a lot of water.

    I gave one star because thats as low as it goes. These machines are absolute junk..You are paying a premium price for something that at best will last a year. I hate to see folks lose their job but It would not phase me a bit If I found out this company went bankrupt yesterday..The current one we have is just over 90 days old. It has not made ice in three days. Im sure its ready for landfill city. Guess we will find out..

    We had a similar situation as the other person who suggested not buying. We tried to have the unit self clean and it made loud noises and stopped working afterwards. We placed a contacted request. For an amount of money paid this is no acceptable. The unit was purchased on March 18, 2023.

    We purchased this icemaker 8/5/23. It has NEVER produced 44lbs of ice in 24 hrs. We thought maybe due to high temps here in TX even though we have it inside in a climate controlled environment. A few days ago, we started at 7am and gave up by 12:30 pm and only had 1/2 bin of ice. Prior to this we had purchased the Insignia version. SAME issues. Very DISAPPOINTED

    Worked beautifully for the first year, now that we’re just out of the warranty it is no longer making nuggets, it’s all slushy. A piece clearly broke internally, because we found black plastic pieces in our slushy ice!
