Good Deal.....NOT At ALL! - Inaccurate Specs!

Bestbuy needs to ensure the description/specifications are accurate. I am an informed buyer that researches and calculates the cost with other brands of similar types of fans after narrowing down based on selective reviews of the product. I decided not to really penalize the product with a one star, but to ensure other buyers see that what is being described is not what you are really getting. The description/specifications clearly states on Bestbuy a 4650 CFM for this 20" outdoor high velocity fan. On the box it clearly states up to 3000 CFM. Serial/Model number matches so I did receive the correct purchased model. Based on my research, the price point was very competitive, comparatively to other similar models. However, everything changes when in fact the CFM (cubic feet per minute) is 1/3 less at 1650 CFM minus the stated amount of 4650 CFM. I can confirm at the highest settings that it blows quite fast, but for the price point of getting 1/3 less power, then it is no longer a competitive price but rather quite pricey for a 3000 CFM model. Requesting a return from Bestbuy as "not as described". If you are fine with the fact it blows fast and don't care that you are paying more for what you are actually are getting, then it's pretty decent for an outdoor fan. Mind you, I haven't tested this fan for durability and longevity, so best of luck!

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NewAir-4650 CFM 20 moves so much air its like a hurricane!!!! my oldest son came over during the summer months and thought I had the AC on but I said I did not only fan then he asked me where I bought this fan ? I informed him at Best Buy . He said If I would gift him the fan and I said " NO!!!" but coming X-mas I surprised him with one . You will not regret this purchase. It cools down my living room and kitchen and down the hallway. In the summer and saves me money because I do not have to have the AC on during the day. CONS: THE BACK END GET QUIT WARM TO THE TOUCH SO DO NOT LEAVE IT ON WITH OUT SOMEONE BEING THERE.

I keep it on the outside of my run and so far no issues with the elements, ill obviously put it away in the winter. I did get the protection plan just in case but so far so good.

Worked great until it didn't

However I got the warranty protection and I still have it under warranty and having it replaced. it might last you a year, isn't great for $140
