I was unsure based on the pictures and reviews but they do pop in and out easily without having to slide the middle up or down. Popping out takes a slight angle (pop out the +/- side first) but works great. And my kids (smaller hands) actually prefer the slide out part without the grips. So it's a win for everyone. Feels sturdier than the grip that comes with switch 2. And I didn't want it to charge

This is a perfect charging stand for two sets of joy con. It looks gorgeous, charges very quickly, the joy con snap in easily, and is very easy to tell when they are fully charged. For the price, it can't be beat. Highly recommended.

It's sturdy and doesn't slip, the magnets holding the joycon in are good enough to keep them securely inserted, but still weak enough that you don't need to apply much force to remove them, and the charge light indicator are at a reasonable brightness level which is for some reason a hard thing to do for these types of things.

This is perfect for any space fits perfectly next to my tv. So far it has fully charged remotes pretty quickly.

Just amazing the charging dock that charges up to 4 joy cons. I love the look and feel to just snap your joy cons when need of charge.

This charges the joycons! And looks decent next to the dock. However, you have to take off your case on the joycons in order to charge them. Honestly would rather leave them attached to the system and not have to keep taking them off.

This charges the Joycon 2's but it has started flickering and restarting every few minutes. I contacted the company about a warranty exchange and they ghosted me - no response or honor of the warranty. Stay away from this one!
