Dashcam
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great! I’ve had it for a while now. I definitely feel like I don’t use it to its maximum capability. I like that I can see it from an app the only down side is that I need to have it with me. I would love to be able to see it while I’m not close to my car.

Review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Nextbase Dash Cam I have purchased. The first has been reliable for over a year. Relatively easy to set up and use. Never had much luck with using the iOS app to view/download recordings. Test this first thing if it is something you really need.

Good camera, not the best though
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the 522 and the 322, side by side, the only quality difference seems to be color in the actual video. There’s actually some areas where the 322 performed better if not the same as the 522. 522 DEFINITELY has better night capture and the 522’s bigger screen is very nice.

Great Video Quality & Very User Friendly
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great dash cam and it's user friendly design makes it a superb choice for any first time dash cam buyer. For the price I wish that it would've come with a memory card but I guess the quality makes up for it. Video quality great even at night without any kind of night vision.

Not reliable on hot days
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this camera for over a year but only installed it about a month ago. So far, I'm not impressed. From what I've seen the video quality is fine although the camera/app could be more user friendly. The problem I have with the camera is the auto power/recording feature. It seems like the hotter it is outside the more it malfunctions. I live in Florida and in the last month the temperature has ranged from 40-90 F. When it's cool out, like 70 and below, it works just fine. Between 70-80 it will turn on but at least half the time will not start recording automatically. Above 80 it does not record automatically and sometimes will not turn on at all. So it may be that if you live in a cooler climate this camera will fit your needs just fine. In my situation the heat sensitivity is especially frustrating because I drive a lot for work and make frequent stops. I don't unmount it when I'm out because I use it for parking surveillance. The camera is set to go on screensaver after 30 seconds of recording because the video distracts me at night, and I wear polarized sunglasses during the day. Sometimes if the video doesn't start recording during the day and I have to push the record button manually it will start recording and then stop a few seconds later. I can't tell it isn't recording unless I take my sunglasses off while I'm driving and see that it's not in screensaver mode. And if I forget to check that the camera turns on and starts recording when it's really hot out I have to take the sunglasses off and watch the camera for a few seconds to see if the red light is blinking. Sometimes I find that it is still powered off. It's only March, it's going to get a lot warmer here soon. For me, the camera is too sensitive to heat and I don't trust that it will work when I need it to.

Posted .Hi there,
We're sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your dashcam, just for reference this product is designed to work perfectly within temperatures from -20° to 45°C (from -4° to 113°F), once the temperature exceeds this the device will stay powered off to protect the device and user.
The only other factor in terms of internal temperature range that can exacerbate this is the use of a non-compatible SD card that may not be designed to operate correctly with certain temperatures and not warrantable for use in looped recording devices like dashcams, or is a failing SD card that will also exhibit similar behaviour.
I would suggest contacting our Technical Support team at support@nextbase.com with details about your device and set-up so that we can investigate this issue for you.

Perfect for driving needs
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great display very clear and crisp. Starts recording every time the car turns on, even voices in the car. Bad thing is the car has to be on and device must stay plugged in at all times. But you can set it up to record if the car is parked and experiences a bump.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the NextBase 322 dash cam. So fa, it has been just fine! It's easy to use, and I like the fact that I can add a rearview camera to this model. It's of good quality too.

Just OK
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this dashcam with little expectation and it didn't disappoint. The quality of the picture was not as clear as the shown in their promo/advertisement. The app is one of the worst. Your chance of being able to connect to the app is 50/50, and that's the best odd you're going to get. I tried connecting using the internet in my car as well as using my mobile data and results were the same.

It sounds like your app connection settings are not enabled correctly. Please see the iPhone or Android instructions below to ensure you're correctly setup.

Then go the your MyNextbase Connect app and click on the menu in the top left of the app home screen. Select App Settings and turn on ‘Enable Low Resolution Downloads'.
Android: On your phone, go into Settings- Apps- MyNextbase- Notifications- Ensure these are set to On. Then go back one screen to Permissions and ensure these are also turned on.
Then go the your MyNextbase Connect app and click on the menu in the top left of the app home screen. Select App Settings and turn on ‘Prefer Wi-Fi Direct Downloads’, ‘Allow analytics’ and ‘Enable Low Resolution Downloads'.

Great Features, requires proprietary memory cards.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this camera, along with the rear view module, hardwire kit, and multiple micro SD cards. The features of the camera are fantastic, I love the GPS and map integration. The video quality of both the camera, and rear module are very good. The big issue we had, was finding a compatible memory card. We started out with a U1 class card, not knowing we needed a U3 class card, when using the rear camera module. After two trips back to the store, trying three different brand U3 class cards, two of which met, or exceeded the specifications of the high priced Nextbase cards. None of them worked. One, was a Samsung EVO Plus, and, the other was a Sandisk Extreme Plus. We finally paid double the price, for a Nextbase card with 1/4 the memory capacity, and it works flawlessly with their brand cards. I have had two previous, different brand, dash cams, that, while picky on the cards, did not require proprietary brands, like this one does. The camera works great, and has great video quality, but, be prepared to spend the extra, and purchase the same brand cards.

Posted .Hello,
For a 322GW we would recommend a Dash Cam compatible 8GB -128GB U3 Micro SD card, specifically designed for Dash Cam or CCTV usage. Using a dash cam compatible SD card instead should then allow your Dash Cam to function as designed. The card needs to have a minimum continuous write speed of 48MB/s.
For guaranteed functionality and warranty of the SD card itself, we would suggest a Nextbase Micro SD card.

The first car accessory to buy.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked perfect. My wife and I got into a accident and did all the necessary things you should do except remember to push a save button at time of accident to save the video for insurance claim. But the camera did it for us at the the time of impact and locked the video so 30 min later after nerves where settled and we went to check the camera like oh yeah it was there and waiting for us and proofed are case we since have got the telescopic rear facing camera add on 5 plus stars all day recommend to everybody!

Great camera for big truck
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this model & the 522 model, which is just the next model above this one and this 322 is great for my husband’s work truck (he works in construction hauling gravel etc.) it’s detachable which is pretty cool since if his truck is parked somewhere other then the normal spot he can take it with him or leave it. The quality difference between this & the 522 is that the 522 can record & watch back in 4K. Literally the only difference. I figured he doesn’t necessarily need 4K so we went with this one. Which I thought was cool for him was he turns the truck on & it turns on & off with the truck, no having to touch the screen or any button

It's a very compact camera
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a very good dashcam. The touch screen is I feel little battery hogging and I would have been happy even with a good Phone app controls. But it's fine. It has quite a few accessories and is a little expensive, but it is worth the money.

Great Little Dash Cam
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dash cam provides a great way to document your trips which is one reason why I purchased this. It can record a whole days worth of travel with a 128 GB card. I purchased a 128 GB Sandisk ImageMate Plus mini SD card and it works well with the dash cam. It also records the speed you are traveling and you global coordinates. It plugs into your cigarette lighter and there for there is chord strung accross your dash which is a slightly unwanted but not that big of deal. Over-all so far I am quire pleased with it.
