    This is a reasonable camera, however, I am not that happy with it. There is firmware issues, iOS connection issues, the battery no longer holds a charge. There are better options out there. Or just pass on the whole idea since nobody is driving anywhere right now.

    I haven't had much time to tinker with the cam. I had Geek squad install it for me and I wish they would have shown me how to use the app properly, I assume the covid precautions had something to do with that. Overall the camera seems to work flawlessly and the viewing screen is clear and easy to use the touch screen aspect. The clarity of the camera seems nice. I have yet to pull the micro SD and view anything on the computer to actually see the quality of video.

    Bought this for my 17 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! It makes her feel better about driving with so many people out there that seem to do what they want to these days. Now she has recordings for if proof is needed. She said the set up and use is very easy and she would recommend it for all ages.

    I bought this dash cam as I heard about their popularity in Europe. It's not bad, but it can be improved upon. My biggest gripe is that if it gets too hot, the touch screen is almost useless and you'll have to manually power off in order to access the menu. The only other issue is sometimes it says "SD Card Format Error" to which I just manually power off until it doesn't get the error again. Other than that, It's a decent dash cam.

      The camera is designed to operate in some of the most extreme temperatures globally so shouldn't experience any issues as long as the set-up and equipment are correct.

    This little dash cam is easy to use and easy to install. However, the rubber suction cup has cracked and will no longer hold fast to the windshield. I had read other reviews about the same issue. Now I have to figure out how to stick it to my windshield.

      Hello,

      Two types of mounts come with the 322GW; a suction cup and an adhesive mount. I'd recommend using the adhesive mount with your 322GW.

      If your camera is within 12 months of the purchase date and you provide the Nextbase Technical Support Team with your Proof of Purchase (receipt), they can provide a replacement suction mount piece free of charge. They will require a copy of your receipt, your full name and postal address emailed to [email protected].

    I recently bought this dash camera for my new car, very disappointed, poor video image, blurry, definitely not HIGH resolution, for some reason, I can't get it to connect with my iPhone, tried every different way, the battery of the camera doesn't last long, the most scary thing is this unit heats up quickly, even though it was only plugged in for as little as 30 minutes. I am wondering if i have received a defective item, i am returning it.

      I'm sorry to hear that you've had some issues.
      Are you using a Nextbase SD card?
      SD cards only have limited lifespans. In our manuals we recommend formatting every 2-3 weeks to prolong the life of the card. Without this regular formatting, or if the card is non-compatible or damaged, the card could corrupt which would cause a failure of data writing.
      Symptoms of SD card failure are: an audible 'alarm' tone, non-functional buttons, freezing, corrupted files on playback, excessive heat production, image missing from files, lack of file recording etc.
