I lov3 how clear the video is! It covers a wide view. Easy to access the videos whether on the dashcam itself or thru the app. I just had a little hard time accessing the feats at first, but got it eventually! I like the feature where it will contact emergency hotlines in case of accident.

It was easy to setup. The Alexa feature is very convenient. The best part is it’s very portable so I can take it with me when I’m using a different vehicle. The only trouble I have is setting up the Alexa feature properly to stop/start recording and stuff, but she can answer any questions and play music normally.

It worked fine for the first 8 or 9 months. (I slacked and didn't follow through for the last couple months) Now it won't hold a charge or connect to my phone. Funny...just out of warranty.

The instructions both online (47 pages printed) & included with the product purchase lack many of the most basic information such as where you plug the power cord into the camera. Any online instructional videos such as those on YouTube are designed for installation on vehicles in Great Britain! The battery life is abysmal as well. I’ve had it charging for days in my house and the camera dies during the setup attempts. What a waste of nearly $400! Why can’t anyone make comprehensible instructions anymore for their products?

I have gone through 5 cheap dash cams. My son convinced me to spend more for one good camera. I am very glad I did. He installed it for me and you can hardly see it. No wires. I was concerned about the rise in violence regarding race and masks. I wanted to protect myself and I feel much safer now

I researched many dash-cams and this make got a lot of praise and I will continue the trend! I also bought the rear camera that attaches with a mini HDMI cord and it looks out the back window! Make sure you get the hard install kit! The app on the phone is a little strange, but it works!

GREAT FEATURES! GOT THIS FOR MY HUSBANDS VEHICLE FOR XMAS AND HE IS VERY PLEASED WITH THIS 522GW DASH CAM. WE WERE REAR-ENDED AND DIDN'T HAVE THIS AT THE TIME SO GOOD INVESTMENT!! DON'T HESITATE ON THIS MODEL!!

Use when traveling works well and easy to use on toad

When it's working, it works very well. Crisp clear video, good wide angle views, and nice "protection" feature that automatically flags videos in which the g-shock sensor was triggered. (That makes it easy to go back and find just the videos that might capture the jerk who keyed your car from among the hundreds of clips stored on the card). But it frequently just starts beeping and needs to be power-cycled. Sometimes the telemetry fails to work, apparently because of an odd bug in the connection with the rear-facing camera. Only happens once every few weeks, but that's too often for such an expensive dash cam.

Lots of features but the app is frustrating, slow and unintuitive. I don’t recommend this camera. The camera doesn’t like non-nextbase SD cards, they constantly fail, so they force you to buy their SD card. Having said that, the camera doesn’t seem to handle hot temperatures very well, even their SD card fails occasionally requiring a reformat of it to get the camera to start functioning again. I ended up creating a kind of umbrella of cardboard to protect it from direct sunlight on the dash.

Great Nextbase Dashcam. Great quality recording with GPS.

Had to Replace Camera three times. Keeps making a high pitch beeping noise and cannot get back in working condition. I checked to make sure that camera was charged. Camera works great when operational.

Bought this 6 months ago and it has worked flawlessly. I was a little worried that if I left it in attached I would get my window smashed, but it is so small most people don't even see it. Video quality is excellent and downloading images or video is easy.

It's good for the price but very hard to use their app.

Rechargeable battery does not work an it keeps beeping when it gets hot. Would not be a bad idea if you could make the dash cam to disconnect and take video and pictures of the incident. Battery does not work that well for that.

Works amazing and does what's intended purpose is. The worse part is that the battery doesn't stay fully charged.

This dashcam has excellent features the video is pretty clear for the resolution and it is the first one I have used out of many that has connectivity to a phone that is actually usable. I am happy that I purchased this one and we'll consider NextBase in the future.

I used to have a cheaper dash cam that was not worth it at all. When I saw the review of this dash cam and I went straight to find it and bought it. This is the best money I have expense in 2021.
