One of the best cameras i've owned. Impressed with the video quality and clarity and the ease of operation. Basically set it and forget it. The app works well too. You get alot of camera and features for the price point.

Great quality and picture clear! However you mush buy the battery adapter to allow this camera to record at park.

As a dash cam it works fairly well. The problem is you cannot have 2 cars and 2 drivers with one in each for use with Alexa. Once you pair Alexa to a camera in one car if you want to drive the second car you need to disconnect and re-pair in second car. One of my reasons for choosing this camera was because it worked with Alexa. It is not easy to pair with Alexa. It takes repeated tries and having to do this every time I switch cars is ridiculous. From Tech Support: First of all thank you for contacting Nextbase support, the way that your 522GW communicates to your smartphone is via a singular wireless connection and is not designed for multiple consecutive pairings, this means that in order to connect to another device you will have to UNPAIR your smartphone with the previous camera.

This dash cam has worked perfectly from the time I purchased it. It takes a little too long to download videos to your phone and you have to be connected to the camera in your car to do so. However you can just remove the SD card and stick it in your computer to view the videos.

Worked great the first 15 months now wont work keeps freezing other than longevity i like the product to expensive to keep replacing

I love this camera because it provides a sense of security and protection while driving. Being in an accident this would allow for a better representation of the accident. I enjoyed it so much that I made sure to get the backview camera also. I feel covered around the vehicle.

Very confusing controls and the car cable that connects to 12v came not working. Battery dies insanely quick

This camera was great at first, but then it began to slowly work less, stop recording for no reason, and not charge up. I could honestly forgive all that, but what put me over the top was when a huge rock smashed into our windshield, and it didn't record it. It managed to record a little while before and after it, but not the moment we needed. Also, the app for this thing is garbage. It never works and it shows. Seriously, if this was a $50 cam, no worries, but it isn't! This thing is expensive and so not worth the cash you pony up!

Nice small compact camera with 2 additional ways of doing rear seperately depending on if your trying to see in cabin or out the rear , great for when vehicle is in service , wish I had this installed before when my vehicle was in service and had item stolen out of glovebox

Great dash cam. Set up was simple as was the installation. I experimented with having it at the top and bottom of the windshield. I think it’s best at the top. It’s comforting to know I have a witness in case of trouble.

Video quality was great. Camera would get really hot. Did not record several times. Maybe turned off because too hot. The angle of view was not wide enough.

This product is very good. I can live screen my driving. It's important to be able to show police what really happened in an accident.

Not impressed it locks up quite often and becomes very unresponsive. You to disconnect the power and let the battery die before you can do anything

Installed at Best Buy Clarksville, TN, the staff were outstanding. The product works as stated and definitely adds to the ease of my driving.
