Not giving me the red lights camera alerts as to lane departure alerts as the Thinkware pro800 I was hearing ever time I would be at a red light camera stop lights I missed that

I'm a long time Amazon Prime user. I am wanting to migrate away from them and so I am trying direct buying from retailers I trust like Best Buy. So far, I am very pleased with both the product and service/delivery from BB.

After reading all google reviews, this one came on top but I’m disappointed, the image has miles to go and reviewing past recordings is a hassle, the Bluetooth is weak

Wouldve given it 5 stars if it came with the Micro SD it needs to work. Kind of stupid the unit is over $200 and doesnt just have one included in my opinion.

Working so far in decent condition, sometimes freezes, app is too slow to display videos, wifi connection between device & app doesn’t get recognized sometimes unless powered off & on

For a $300 dash cam, I’m very disappointed. 1. Won’t charge, plugged it in the night before and battery is showing no charge. 2. Cam gets very hot 3. Does not adjust to light changes, ie exiting tunnels. The screen stays white, will not adjust back to normal daylight. 4. Takes gps more than 10 minutes to reconnect after leaving tunnels. I am very disappointed and frustrated that I wasted my time with this product. Return in process.

I purchased the 522gw in April along with the rear camera, hardware kit and microsd card. The camera worked fine for 4 months and then just died. Can't turn it on even with a hard reset. Reformatted card didn't help. The blue light will go out after it charged but camera will not turn on. Disappointed.

I feel more secure driving around town knowing that my DashCam is capturing the events around me. You never know when an accident will occur. The DashCam will collaborate your story if you end up in court.

Love this dash cam! The guys at Best Buy were great with the install too.

Not a bad little dash cam. It does what you want it to do and the smaller file sizes makes it easier to select just the part of the video you want to keep

This dash cam is simply defective. It doesn't connect with the app like its supposed to. The battery doesn't hold a charge and always needs to be plugged in which makes the parking mode defunct. Please don't waste your time or money.

got my son one for christmas he came to visit and liked ours and now he bought a tuck and ask for one for his new truck

I upgraded from a garmin plus with Alexa to this one for the rear camera add on and I’m impressed . Having a dash cam is good but having the rear cam as well is good to have for people on their phones .

If you have been wanting a 4k dashcam, this is definitely one to consider. First out of the box things can be a bit confusing. Nextbase is mostly for the European market, but the settings are all there for American conversion. On their tech support, there are phone numbers listed to be able to call in European countries, but USA only has an online help database available. Also right out of the package it is noticeable that there is no memory card included. You will have to buy a mini SD, and it supports up to 128gb card. It tells you to charge the camera for 2 full hours first before powering on. It does come with a usb cable to charge but no wall adapter so you will also need one of those. During that charging time, it is a good time to sort through the different mounting options you have. It comes with a suction cup mount and also a double sided tape solid mount. The adapter that connects to either and the camera is a powered mount with GPS in it, Allowing you to leave the mount plugged in to your power source all the time and the dashcam connects from the front of the camera with a magnet mount that has power prongs. It can be a hair difficult to remove the camera from the magnetic base because of 3 little posts that keep the camera in place when mounted. I chose to use the double sides tape solid mount for mine since I don't swap vehicles a lot, and it holds super strong on the window. When the camera is done charging, and you power it on, you will want to download the MyNextbase app and set up your camera through it. It will want to connect through Bluetooth and Wifi Direct. The touchscreen is very nice, very responsive and easy to access everything. Once you are all set up you can also set up Alexa to use command prompts for your dashcam, like take a picture, start and stop recording, protect files. etc. Video playback is super clear and the audio pick up is very smooth and clear. very little distortion. You are able to choose between 4k@30fps, 1080p@60fps, or 1080p@30fps. Recording is automatic when powering on. There are many settings and features to adjust. I have come across connection issues when trying to connect to the dashcam through the app, and usually requires completely turning off bluetooth and wifi, completely closing the app and reopening the app and letting the app reconnect everything. I have also had to unlink the phone from the camera bluetooth several times as the app doesn't realize you are already paired to it. Overall this is one of the best dashcams I have ever used and it is well worth it once all set up. Besides the camera not coming with an SD card, and the issues with connecting the camera with the app, I would definitely recommend for some of the best recording you can get.

Love this! I have not had any issues and I feel protected from being held responsible in an accident that I didn't cause. A must have if you drive a lot in a big city.

The cam doesn’t record at times and manually hitting the record button doesn’t work. Won’t load videos to the phone. SD card is supposed to go about 2 weeks, but it’s been every day it stops and states needs reformatted again. Don’t know if just got a bad one or not but this is NO WHERE CLOSE to what I want or what it’s supposed to work.
