The camera was easy to install, I'd recommend watching the video on Nextbase's web site first so you can see how to fit the wiring around the window and in the door. Get the largest SD card you can, the video's are really big and you can fill a small card very fast especially if you lock any of videos. Download their app to your phone and the Nextbase Player to your computer which makes it easy to view, organize and edit the videos.

So far so good. I like the setup and the power at the base, but don’t be fooled; this camera does not easily detach without messing up where you have it pointed. The suction cup is good but you can pull it loose detaching the camera. Also, wish this had been 4K with as expensive as it is. However love the rear view attachment you can add to it. Also only comes with cigarette lighter attachment and not a USB. That has to be bought separately and that’s not evident in packaging.

Great image quality , not complicated so even someone who isn’t “techie “ can use this product very easily.

This camera is good and has high quality video playback. It does the job. Its just hard to download the videos to the phone. But its good.

Awesome dash cam for your car...it’s very small and slick just like wanted it. It’s easy to use and an awesome camera to have. The only down part of why I’m giving it a 4 star is because of the next base dash cam app. It’s very unuseful at times because it doesn’t work or it’s just way to slow to connect. Next base got to do better to interact with the app but other then that no problems at all. Overall I would def recommend this to anyone who needs a dash cam it’s a very useful thing to have while driving.

When I picked up the product box, got to the car and opened, to find no camera, only peripherals. Only box store had, so had to travel to another store to pick one up. Cost me an hour and a half to make this purchase.

Good picture quality. Some issues with linking to the phone app but after many attempts it now works as described.

I like it, but the app is super bad, and it saves the video twice so memory card gets full fast. They should just take out the app.

It’s a little difficult to set up for someone that is not knowledgeable about electronics. Once it’s set up it’s fairly easy to use.

Great dash cam. This is our 2nd one. We have the 622 and 522. Both are great cameras.

We've been running two of these in our cars for over a year and I've successfully pulled video off of them in the past. Yesterday my wife was in a car accident and the camera literally missed the most important 30 seconds of the crash. It successfully captured 2 hours before and 2 hours after the crash, but the 30 seconds during the crash--nothing. The data files are numbered sequentially before the crash and after the crash so nothing in between. Not sure what happened but incredibly disappointed. Maybe a power-surge killed the recording during the crash? We bought these for this exact purpose and yet somehow it managed to miss the most important 30 seconds in its entire year of recording. It's honestly almost laughable. In our case the other driver admitted fault so we don't need the video, but it doesn't bode well. My new car is arriving in about two weeks and I will be going with a different brand--which is hopefully higher quality.
