Easy to use and setup. Great UI and doesn't overreact to general driving forces (some dashcams can overreact to hard stops or turns). Bought as a gift for my father, and it works great for him. There are cheaper dash cams. I use a cheaper one personally but you lose features and quality. This dashcam is great and provides great use to my father. Will be buying one for myself very soon.

Good quality, works great. Cant peak to the longevity of the product yet but it feels like it should hold up.

The camera is great! Quality is really good, and the microphone is amazing as well. Unfortunately, mine stopped working after 2 years of constant use. Unsure if due to heat or overuse.

I was happy with my Nextbase 522gw at first, and it worked well for the first year and a half. Now the screen has colored static on it, and the camera at times will not record. I discussed the issues with Nextbase customer support, which is rather slow to respond. They questioned my micro SD card, thinking it was bad. I replaced it, and the camera still malfunctions. Next they had me do a routine batter test, which proved that the battery was no longer holding a charge. This is considered a "consumable item", and was not covered under warranty anymore. They did provide a battery description for me to try to locate on my own, but they cannot provide a link to purchase nor do they sell the batteries in the USofA. As of now, I cannot find a replacement battery, anywhere. How ridiculous is it that this device needs a new "consumable item" such as a battery but you cannot purchase one anywhere? I have let Nextbase customer support know that I am not at all a happy customer. They couldn't care, they discontinued the email conversation. Going forward, I will always have at least one dashcam in each of my 3 vehicles. However, none will be Nextbase. I cannot support a business that cannot offer anything better in product/customer support.

Very Great Price and Great Quality , this is one of the best Dashcam I have ever bought , also used a Higher memory card and it works fine 256 memory .

I have had this a while and it has worked great. However, the app is subpar and it has fallen from my window about 5 times since owning it. It works fine, though it is not amazing.

I purchased this dashcam when we decided to move from New Jersey to San Jose California last year. I was able to document our 5 days road trip of approximately 3,500 miles. The video quality is excellent. The only problem that I encountered is the built in battery it only last for less than 3 minutes after you turn off the engine. It is a bit pricey compared to other dash cam with the same specs. I may recommend this to a friend.

As a dash cam it works fairly well. The problem is you cannot have 2 cars and 2 drivers with one in each for use with Alexa. Once you pair Alexa to a camera in one car if you want to drive the second car you need to disconnect and re-pair in second car. One of my reasons for choosing this camera was because it worked with Alexa. It is not easy to pair with Alexa. It takes repeated tries and having to do this every time I switch cars is ridiculous. From Tech Support: First of all thank you for contacting Nextbase support, the way that your 522GW communicates to your smartphone is via a singular wireless connection and is not designed for multiple consecutive pairings, this means that in order to connect to another device you will have to UNPAIR your smartphone with the previous camera.

It does work great, but you do have to watch what SD cards you put into the device. The quality of the video is great. The fact that it has the in cab camera and backup camera as options to add to the device it would have been nice to be able to use both not just one or the other.

Great picture quality in day and night. Very easy to use and setup. A little hard to remove the micro SD for me. Suction cup has held onto the windshield with no issues. About to order the rear window camera

Camera works well with good video. It was disappointing it did not come with even a basic sim card. The instructions are printed on black multi pages and were little help. Using the app worked well and took care of questions. There was a price drop a few days after I made purchase and Best Buy credited me the difference when I called customer service. It appears solidly built at a decent price but only time will tell if it holds up under use.

I can say the video quality was good. That is really about it with this camera. I had it for 3 months and found that almost nothing worked correctly. I regularly found it had stopped recording and only way to get it to start again was the reset button. If I needed to transfer videos off the camera it meant pulling the memory card, attempting to do it via the built in WiFi would mean the camera would restart it self midway through the process EVERY TIME and I would have to start the process over again. A dash cam needs to be reliable and just work. This camera can not be called reliable. I have upgraded to a different brand dash cam now.

Great camera, only problem is that it interferes with the electronic of my new truck, for example voice command is disable and went I want to bluetooth connect the camera it drops the bluetooth connection of my truck, therefore I can not use the phone setting to make phone calls.

Video quality is good. I like the 60fps at 1080p setting more than 30fos at 4K. The only negative is that the unit restarts a few times if you drive long distance. I believe it heats up and has to power cycle. Kinda annoying.

So far so good. I like the setup and the power at the base, but don’t be fooled; this camera does not easily detach without messing up where you have it pointed. The suction cup is good but you can pull it loose detaching the camera. Also, wish this had been 4K with as expensive as it is. However love the rear view attachment you can add to it. Also only comes with cigarette lighter attachment and not a USB. That has to be bought separately and that’s not evident in packaging.

This dash cam has good picture quality and is easy to use. You can add a rear camera or a camera to view the inside of your car. I have the dash cam and bought the camera for the rear glass. They work great for my work commute.
