Posted .Hello! Our dash cams do need to be connected the mount/power source to operate properly. They are not like our cell phones and laptops that take a charge and then work for X number of hours before needing to recharge. If you have any other questions, please let us know at [email protected]

Mount Doesnt hold up to heat

Great camera but Nextbase mounts woth double sided 3M tape doesnt work. They need a suction mount, at least you can easily re-mount with suction.
