I had decided to replace my original PS4 controller that came with the boxed system recently and the controller I purchased makes playing games easier on the fingers compared to my previous controllers wear and tear analog sticks rubber shrapnel.

My 15 year old grandson wanted this game. He even told me where to buy it! He plays many sports, but in down time he plays these. Between sports, school, friends, homework, he's so tired he needs something like this, which, is not violent.

NHL 17 like every year has made some really good subtle changes that continue to improve the game. The addition of Draft Champions which is in other EA titles is great, and give it even more reasons to fire up throughout the hockey season!

Somewhere around 2010 this game changed and playing on the highest difficultly level became impossible. I used to love playoff mode on superstar but now I struggle to win a single game. GM move is cool and graphically it's great.

Compared to Madden and FIFA the game is lacking in its story mode and gameplay. The passing and checking does not seem fluid and not as smooth as NHL 2014. Overall, it is still a great game and enjoying play with friends. However, other game modes need to be radical altered and improved.

Great game and we enjoy playing it as a family. It was fun learning from my son how to play the different positions. Even my husband got involved. We like to make sure that our games are for the whole family.

Year after year EA sports brings to the ice the best hockey simulation. To quote my wife "are you playing or watching the Flyers live?" it's that real. You will not be disappointed awesome game experience.

You may have to play with the difficulty settings a little bit but once you find the right balance the game is great. Unless you've never played I wouldn't recommend playing on the easiest setting because you'll be scoring 9+ goals in most games.

This is a great hockey game! Had lots of fun playing with my friends. Plus it was on sale when I bought them online!! Best Buy rocks in always having great deals on video games!!

I'm not a sports fan, but I like certain sports video games. Hockey video games are one of the sports video games that I enjoy playing. This one is a lot of fun to play, with an appeal for fans and non-fans alike.

My kids have the prior years as well and they provide hours of entertainment for them and their friends when they need down time after a busy week of their own hockey!

Missed the sale pre Christmas, finally went back on sale, so I had to get it for a birthday present as it was the #1 request on the list. Typical EA quality game.

For the longest time EA Sports has been cruising thru all the PSX systems since the 90's. It is rare, if they disappoint. This game is no exception.

Despite some minor gameplay glitches the 2017 NHL game for PS4 is a solid option for those not ready to preorder and rush into the new 18 game coming soon.

I hadn't played an NHL game in years and it still felt the same as far as how great I remember them being. Great multiplayer fun on the ice.

The great overall is great and is worth the purchase. The only element that seems to need some improving is the retro controls that don't seem to respond that well in franchise mode.

NHL 17 is the best one in a long time! Franchise mode is better than ever! I have already played this years version more than I did last years!

The game is great as it allows you to jump into a career as your favorite player, or to start a new career as a new player. Fun so far!

If you know hockey and have a particular team you cheer for. NHL17 hit the nail on the head with the player experience that is provided.
