my son is 12 almost 13 ( Feb 12 2019) when he was almost 4 he wanted to play hockey because Daddy did. well we put skates on him and he ran to the ice and he was off. When he turned 6 he got the Wii which came with winter Olympic sports well he is not a vidio game kid but if he could play hockey sometimes he would play the game. When he turned 8 he asked for either and x box or playstaion ( it was 2015, so he had to have the popular one for the year. of coarse NHL 2015 well this became a yearly thing the newest sytem and then years NHL EA sports....they love playing in between periods while watching then game

NHL has been an annual purchase for me since NHL 09. This years game is an upgrade from the last couple of years in my opinion but still lacks something “great.” I can’t pinpoint it but something with an awe factor just isn’t there. The menus are still abysmally slow. Great game play though!

Love the new NHL! It has so much control with the new stick handling abilities. Super fun to drop in with buddies online!

Great game for beginners to learn about the game of hockey. the graphics are awesome and easy game lay as well.

There isn't much to say about this game. It's NHL and they release it every year. Its not very different than the previous release except for the single player aspect of HUT which lets you earn cards for playing through every NHL team on varying difficulties. You can also play HUT with a friend online too which is a fantastic addition.

NHL 18 is a very good game. It has lots of cool features and new ones too. Creating your own player and building up experience is a big plus in my book. Playing online against other opponents is awesome. All in all, a good investment.

The game is a nice upgrade to years past. Enjoying the defensive skill-stick feature. The new Threes game mode is fun - not quite as much rock-em sock-em as the old NHL Hitz but very fast paced.

Unrivaled year-to-year improvement on a great game! Three on Three is the perfect addition to this year's game. Online gameplay is usually smooth with fewer computer players on the ice.

This game was diffrent than the rest. I love the 3 on 3 mode. It has an arcade view that allows you to win players and mascots. The game play is great and it keep improving.

I would rate this 5 instead of 4 stars but this years NHL and last years are almost identical besides the modes, this year has way more modes then last year, every year I buy the latest NHL by EA, another year another great game overall

My 8 year old son and I have loads of fun playing this game. We enjoy the new 3 on 3 game mode and all the classic modes as well. Hours of enjoyment!!

First time I walked in on my child playing the game I thought that it was an actual NHL game on television. My child loves it and so do I.

You have to get the new NHL every year. Nothing better than the NHL 18 online experience. New 3 on 3 full game formats is new this year!

Got this for a family member. He seems to enjoy it well enough. The new features make it a bit of a jarring transition from the older 360 titles he was uses to but seems to be learning quickly.

This was at the top of my son's birthday list and he couldn't wait to get it. He and his brothers are so excited to play it.

NHL 18 is a super fun game. The three on three arcade game is unreal and you can play it for hours. Highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best year to year updates in the franchise. The game mode Threes mode alone is worth the money.
