This game has great graphics and user friendly set up mode. The integrative play is very dynamic and fun. You can enjoy this game as a single player or through xbox live playtime

If you like the NHL at all, this is the game for you! All sorts of different game modes so you can live through all those NHL "what-if moments" you have had. Trade a player to a team that you would have never expected, or stock up and build an unstoppable team in pursuit of the Stanley Cup.

This is a solid game, great graphics and intuitive game play. It is the best edition of the NHLs to date. Completely realistic and fun!

I have not played NHL since the first offering for the Xbox One, which was very lackluster. This years offering is great and feels like a true hockey sim. I've heard that the game doesn't offer a whole lot over last years game, so it may not be worth the pickup if you already own NHL 17.

My only complaint is the lack of Little Caesar's Arena in the game. Definitely a huge letdown and feel like EA had plenty of time to get that arena incorporated. Cool new feature to do two types of expansion drafts too

After skipping 2 years up upgrades, it’s time to jump back in with this typically strong performer. Hockey is the ultimate sports video game!

I wish they would improve the game mechanics and the commentary. The 3 on 3 is nice, but it is a novelty. The regular game and presentation can use an update.

Fun NHL game that adds some new features and gameplay

Bought this as a birthday gift for my son in college. I know he loves to play in between those long hours of studying.

My grandson (16 years old) is thoroughly enjoying this game. He and his friends have been playing for hours. It is great entertainment and keeps them at home and out of trouble.

The game is fun, but it's a whole lot of the same from the last two iterations. The stick control is improved, which is nice, and they added the expansion draft mode (one of the main reasons I got it) which also makes Franchise Mode a little more interesting, but the best feature is the NHL Threes mode. It's a blast to play with friends - that said, you could probably get by with NHL 17 until this one drops a little in price.
