Fun time but also my first NHL game. I wanted to try it out. Definitely only recommend getting these games on deeeeeep deep discount. Dont give EA too much money. They dont deserve it. Clowns.

I have not purchased a NHL game in 5 years since they all felt the same. Now I picked up 2020 and was instantly excited for some of the newer features. My only real problem is maybe the controls are too realistic. Constantly bad poke checks turn into penalties and my shots are always into the goalie chest with the aiming and deke system is just tricky to me. Sure I can dumb down the difficulty but I don't want to win 12-1. I know tons of people are good at this game and I mainly play FPS so I still give it a 4 out of 5

We as a family enjoyed watching hockey and going to NHL games! Playing NHL 20, I feel like we are participating on the ice. It is challenging and so active that. The game makes us feel involved and we are all participating. I started with hockey games initially with earlier playstations so this is just growth! The Best!

Once again NHL20 comes through for the true hockey enthusiast. Great graphics with real life playing which makes your feel that you are skating with the players. Player control,movement, passing and shooting is like having the stick in your hands. Highly recommend to all that love the feel and action of NHL Hockey

great game play except penalties tend to happen fairly easily. Highly recommend for anyone that enjoys hockey.

I haven't owned a video game system in years, but I vividly remember loving NHL '94. This game is cool. I find it difficult, but I also haven't really used a console in 20 years or more, so I'm not the best judge of skill.

Having not played an nhl game since the n64, this was a nice jumping in point. The game features multiple modes of play and is great mindless fun to help de-stress after a long day. If you are a fan of nhl, sports games or just a game you can play with your buds, this is a great choice.

I have bought the last 3 of these...and see no reason I won’t keep buying them. Typical upgrades to gameplay are there, as well as some new player animations. The practice/training camps are always helpful to a novice like me, and I just love this series. Looking forward to starting my franchise mode.

Good game, nice graphics, online can get extremely frustrating with people exploiting the same few moves

This is my first NHL game purchase since way back when and I was pleasantly surprised. The graphics, gameplay, sounds. It’s about as authentic as you can get. From The Fortress in Vegas to The Madhouse on Madison in Chicago, no detail was spared and they were pretty spot on.

I love the new NHL 20 for the Play Station 4. The graphics are great and colorful. I got it for Christmas and it has been a great present. They have updated the franchise play and it is so much more user friendly. I like that there are so many different game play modes new to NHL 20.

The game itself plays fantastic, the skating is really impressive. It was a little disappointing though that the free digital download didn’t work. The code worked, but it never showed up in my library. Best Buy helped me, but I sent out a request to Sony and they never responded.

Pretty fun game. I haven’t played an EA NHL game in a few years, so I might think it’s more of the same old if I had. EA is good at that. As a stand alone game it’s good, the only bad thing about it is Austin Matthews on the cover. LGRW
