    I'm not sure how this game is getting 5 stars with the amount of bugs innit. The game is fun, it improved on NHL 22 but the screen goes black and you can see the score and other icons but cant see the ice or the players version 1.2

    Look this game has been recycled over and over again with minor and i mean minor updates. This is the same as ps4. Glitches and not even close to EAs "its in the game". No groken glass, no hitting into benches... which was in the one of the NHL games for the PS4 before it was removed. Might be worth $30 on sale.... MAYBE

    This game has really great graphics. Looks like your watching a real hockey game on tv. The gameplay is fun and fighting other players during a game is awesome.

    I always loved this franchise but there wasn't always much improvement from year to year. This time, it was a very noticeable step forward. Besides the fact that there is every type of game mode you could ever want, including new ones, there are also way more moves than ever before and hundreds of awesome new animations.. and of course, the graphics have improved as well, at least on the newer generation console versions.

    The last time I had NHL on PS3 was 2013. I played the series on XBox up until 2022 when I decided to switch over to PS5. EA botched up the online part of the game and couldn’t access any online features. This was because my current PlayStation online ID was associated with an inactive EA ID. All my attempts to reset the password failed. The only way to resolve it was to create a brand new PlayStation ID and a brand new EA ID. So now I have to switch PS5 logins in order to play EA titles. What a pain! Other than that botch up that took way too much of my time, the game play is definitely better than the XBox version. The PS5 controller is much higher quality than the XBox and really makes all the difference in the world. If it weren’t for that online ID botchup by EA, I would’ve given it a higher rating.

    Overall, this is a good game for an avid hockey fan. Graphics are great and the animation and controls are very realistic. It’s not perfect, but still a fun game to play…
