I have been waiting to upgrade my nhl hockey video game for a while, and I was really hoping that this "Legacy Edition" would be what i've waited for. It is to an extent. While the team rosters are updated, the gameplay is pretty standard. I haven't played an EA sports NHL game for quite some time, and i've been getting used to the controls, but I can see how this might not be what some have expected. But, if you really want some updated rosters and decent gameplay then this is for you. I've not tried the online play, but I doubt that I will, as that's really not my forte'.

To be honest, I don't really play video games much. This was for my son. But he loves this game. Despite all the games we own, he always chooses hockey our Minecraft.

Great graphics and movement. The game has a lot of great players and action on the ice. I would recommend this game to any hockey fan.

Legacy addition to the game is awesome. Excellent addition to the series while continuing and further developing what has been a good game

More life like and goalie passes puck away after saves. Announcers are good makes it fun and life like.

Fun game to play lots of new features (for me) my last game was the 2011.

Great for playing the WHL and other minor league teams

I bought NHL 16 for my Xbox One and NHL Legacy Edition for my Xbox 360. I assumed it would be fairly similar in enhancements and functionality, however it's basically NHL 15 with 2016 roster updates.

I like that the game is updated with the exception of no nhl rookies. At least I have not found it yet

The game is good for the hockey fan. There's not much difference in terms of gameplay, I upgraded from NHL 13. Never really understood HUT, but it's fun if your into managing a team.

My special needs son who is cognitively delayed and has a short tension span is able to understand and keep his focus on this game for a longer time. He gets a tinkle in his eyes enjoying playing his favorite team. It is not hard for his to understand the controls to the game at all.

My newphew is an NHL super fan and loves this game. It definitely made his birthday. It seems really fun and has a wide array of teams and eras to play through.
