Love this colorful whimsical RPG.....i can spend hours building my kingdom and recruiting....combat is simple but fun.

I bought this game because I always wanted to play the first but never got a chance to as I didn't own a PS3. I was hoping they'd re-release it for the PS4 but they didn't so instead I decided to just start with this one as it's a separate story anyway. I played it for maybe 10 hours now and it is a lot of fun and the art looks amazing, it just sometimes feels a little repetitive to me. It is worth the price though and you get a lot of game play value out of it. I recommend it.

Great combat and fantastic art style. Several systems that drag in the later game but overall very fun and a good story.

was excited to hear that a sequel to the first ni no kuni was coming out but was left very disappointed by this game. was not a big fan of the storyline or the skirmish system, but the battle system is a huge improvement because it's much more action and fast-paced. the kingdom building simulator was cool for a while but it also got tiring and tedious after a bit.

Our kids love anime, and honestly, so do I. The animation on this game is beautiful, and everyone is raving about the gameplay. So I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my kids on a Deal of the Day. The only reason I gave it a four star instead of five star is because I wish they would make a game with all this great animation and story that was suitable even for our 8-year-old rather than so many of the games being T for Teens.

From nice smooth graphics too an enchanting story line, this game is wonderful and fun to play.

I have never been much of a JRPG and though this game does suffer from the usual cliches of JRPG's like long and unnecessary dialogue it innovates in so many other ways. New gameplay mechanics were still being introduced many hours into my journey and it always felt well instituted and not hard to understand. Combat is real time as opposed to turn based and the art direction is superb. A must buy for any fan of RPG's
