The Ghibli-like art style is charming.I loved how rich, beautiful and detailed.

It looks like the first Ni No Kuni (for PS3) but studio Ghibli was actually not involved with this sequel Ni No Kuni 2. That's not to say this is an imitation. Actually, nixing the pokemon-like creations is a good thing. The attention to detail can't rival the first game however, and the story doesn't have as much heart. Still a beautiful game though.

Very good game and a must play. The colors are so vibrant and graphics are excellent. Fun game that will always have you busy with side quests or if not just punching out the main quest. Game does not get repetitive, and the plot line is what makes this game worth it. Easy 50-60+ hours for this game if you want to 100% it, doing all the dungeons and side quests.

Great art style and improved mechanics from first game

This game is cute, but much darker than the original. I didn't finish the original mainly because its combat system was no fun. The Pokemon-esque collection system just wasn't rewarding. This time around, I can control characters directly in combat which is great. But sometimes the specific magic or traits of the weapons don't feel particularly consequential.

So far I'm around 10 hours into the game. This is not a direct sequel from the first one, but it holds a similar feel overall. the Familiar system is gone, now is a more active action RPG. Overall the game is on the easier side, which is good for kids to approach the game. The story is kinda predictable so far. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

great JRPG, had anime graphics, good storyline and fun to play

The game play has changed from the previous game of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on the PS3. Some people may not enjoy the new game play style and prefer the previous game play. I enjoyed the style or graphics of the game. I kind of wished all of the dialogue were at least voice acted. It's still an enjoyable game besides that issue.
