Ni no Kuni has a beautiful artstyle that looks great in the cutscenes, gameplay, and Studio Ghibli animations. It tells a captivating story with fun gameplay. I recommend it to those who like RPGs and those who don't, it's just good.

This was one of my favorite games on PS3, and for this version to be so faithful to that is awesome. Saving is lightning fast and the story and graphics hold up beautifully.

Love everything about this if you love games similar to FinalFantasy then this is for you. Super cute and I actually find the easy mode a bit challenging but hey this game is so worth it regardless.

Purchased this game back in late 2019 Black Friday sale. I have to say it is somewhat grindy so far. I did not start playing the game until recently when I saw it on sale again. So I have an opened copy and a sealed copy for my collection. I am about 6 months into the Switch console and I think this game Was always meant to be portable as I have never opened my PS4 or PS3 copies.

So this is a game that originally came out awhile ago. But I never got the chance to play it so I'm hyped that it's out on the switch. The art style is definitely timeless and the gameplay seems to be pretty fun.

This is my first time playing this game, I did not play it on PS. The port plays well, LOVE the animation and musical score. I'm excited to play a game drawn in the style of Ghibli!! Fun game, great story,

So far I'm 30 hours in and the game is amazing! Must buy if you like collecting and training minions. Story starts slow but picks up the pace about an hour in. Has both English and Japanese voice acting so you can pick which ever you like. (The English voice acting was not for me.) Art style is a little childish but overall the world's have really nice details. Graphics could be better but still look great for a switch game.

Seeing the masterful artwork of Studio Ghibli in an amazing Japanese role playing game setting is truly wonderful. The combat is simple and easy to learn, but has some great depth. All in all a great game.

I played it on the ps3 but I never got to beat. So I decided to get it on the switch. It plays exactly as I remember it. It looks beautiful. The fact that it's on the switch I can take it everywhere.

Played a little on my PS3 and wanted a portable experience. It's a beautiful game, even on the switch and works perfectly. Haven't played alot yet but from what I have this is a really good port.

It's a bright and beautiful game, very much like the movie and just a great tale of a boy coming to age and taking on the responsibility of finding his mother and facing danger to do so.

If you're into JRPG games, this is a must-play. It's a game many missed due to it being out on the PS3, now there's no excuse for anyone not to play this. The only thing that's the biggest negative in this game imo is the battle which is like Pokemon. If that is not an issue for you then you will absolutely love it. Very charming game. my wife played the main story while I did the boss battles for her, we felt like we were watching an anime movie which isn't a surprise since Miyazaki/Ghibli's was part of this, it's a shame neither of those were part of the 2nd game that was a complete let down .

This is a masterpiece that plays like a JRPG but feels like you are playing a beautiful animated movie. The story is sweet and the gameplay was addicting.

Quite fun, interesting story and a Pokemon-esque monster capture system, though the actual battles in the game fall flat, with the AI not being the most intelligent and their reaction times to your commands being far too slow.
Overall a good game. Just be a little patient with your allies. They're trying their best.

Story and graphics are impeccable. Yes it's a port, but this game is so good you'd want to play it again and again. Beautiful animations too!
