Level 5 really hit the nail on the head with this one. Amazing graphic style, interesting story, and great game play.

Great game if you like studio ghibli and RPG’s but unfortunately they left out the drawings of the spells from the Nintendo DS ver. Which is a big part of the spell book you received in game. This is like the ps4 remake which is still good because the visuals are cleaned up and also they never translated the original i don't think. So this is as good as it gets i still enjoyed it and if you like it you can try the original if you want to really play it in its true form.

The game has an extremely dramatic (in the good sense) storyline, the graphics are top notch, the fight process is just about right. This is one of 2 “holiday games” for my family and I to play this holiday season. The game has been praised by other reviewers and I can attest to the fact that all the good reviews are true. Worth it, specially on the Nintendo switch as you can take it with you everywhere.

The game plays great and being able to take it on the go is a nice bonus.

A bit let down compared to Ni no kuni I due to the limited characters that can be played vs the different types of monsters that can be used previously. Interesting changes with use of higgles, tactic changes, etc. the stories, as always, are very impressive, colorful, and immersive.
