Since Nier Automata hit big numbers, Nier Replicant finally has had its chance in the spotlight. I'm glad so many people get to play it. I just got platinum and my final thoughts are... incredible visual improvements over the original, fluid and fast combat that are better than before, and some new additions that fans of the original game would be glad to see. Get this one.

My first experience with this series was with Nier Automata and that was a fantastic game! I know that Nier was originally released on the ps3 but I'm glad that Square Enix decided to re-release this game on the ps4 with updated graphics and sound ( can also be played on the ps5 ).... it's a great game and I would recommend it.

I won't get into any spoiler territories but I have to say the game is a great piece to dive right into. Not only do the fighting elements have a certain kind of style to it but the story is heavy and crunchy enough to keep you playing. Be aware that nier is quite long and the twists and turns will be quite the ride.

Some of the mechanics are a little out of date but the music, story, characters and atmosphere are worth playing this game.

If you’re a fan of the Nier Universe you’re gonna love this. I never played the original but I played Automata and I feel like this is definitely where most of the style comes from. The world is very beautiful, eerie, feels lived in, and very believable. The music is probably one of the stand out elements of the game.

More than a remaster, but not quite a remake. Completely faithful to the original game, and yet visually overhauled. While the gameplay doesnt quite luve up to modern expectations, it is still solid enough to carry you through the story. Prepare to have your emotions toyed with as you take this journey.

Great update for a super underappreciated gem. The original Nier is a rough game with tons of heart, and this update retains what made it special while giving it a nice facelift in some areas. Will be very palatable to people who started the series with Automata. Emil is a baby, we love him.

Never played the original NieR before, so this is a treat. I am blown away by how good it is. If you liked NieR automata, or haven't played Automata, this is great starting point! You'll get all the Easter eggs and references I didn't when playing Automata! Fantastic game! Highly recommended!

Very fun game!!! I'm new to the Nier franchise but its plays very good and the story is interesting.

I have liked the drakengard series and have just played nier automata back at launch. I do remember hearing about nier replicant back in 2013 and when I saw that it was finally coming to the US I was excited! Definitely feels like a prequel to automata considering it came out first

I had the chance to play Nier for the 360 but never finished it. This remaster with the japanese version was my oportunity to see the whole story and it is amazing. I really like this series of games and this remaster is beautifully done. Hope all remasters were like this one

automata was a sleeper hit! not a lot of people got it right away because they had no idea of what it was about, but of coarse you know the main reason of why people bought it hah this game was also a great one!!! its long its interesting and overall fun of coarse

This game is fantastic! I was a huge fan of Nier Automata, and this game is just as good if not better in my opinion. It has a great story, awesome characters and a really fun setting that you can really get lost in. Pick this up! You will not be disappointed!

So glad to see this series get the respect it deserves. Automata brought this vision into the mainstream and it allowed the original Nier to get a proper remaster. The combat is not as deep as automata but much improved, as are the graphics. Play it
