I am giving it the ratings I gave the original Nier game. Now it’s got better graphics, and added content. Instead of same main characters, they changed the relationship this time. Still if you loved the original I highly recommend getting this game too! Another neat thing only Xbox has done,is they added this to the reverse compatibility library for Xbox, so if you own the original you can play it on your Xbox one/Xbox one x/series x/ s. It was also enhanced so it looks and plays really good. Smooth frame rates and enhanced picture. People on YouTube put samples up if you wanna check it out.

Feels like a Video Game with a capital VG in all the ways it engages with gaming tropes and genre expectations. Gameplay is satisfying and the narrative is compelling.

If you played nier automata. You will love this game and get the worse case of nostalgia. The music is amazing, the scenes and dialogue are amazing. It starts off slow but picks up quickly. Focus on the main mission for the best enjoyment.

I never played this game the first time around. Like many, NieR Automata was my entry into this universe. I loved that game so I bought this one. While Replicant is not as good as Automata, it is a solid entry in the series and definitely worth playing if you’re a fan of the NieR universe. Replicant has been remastered/remade to play like a more modern game. However, while it does play much more like Automata than its original iteration, Replicant does also show its age with a lack of modern features like fast travel.

A storytelling masterpiece and an essential experience for Nier Automata fans. Some game design choices do feel dated but the much improved gameplay mechanics smooths out the ride.

An excellent title and emotional experience. A bit niche when considering the game as a whole, but if you're committed to see the whole picture, you'll get the best experience out of this game.

This is another great game from the makers of Nier automata ( one of the best games ever made). The graphics have been overhauled and the story is gripping. I enjoyed this game all the way.

Wife and I enjoyed Nier Automata which is a sequel to Nier Replicant. Since we enjoyed the lore, we decided to purchase Replicant. From reviews, it seems the general consensus in Automata is better than Replicant. Replicant 1.22 is sort of a remake/upgrade to the old Nier game (in 2010 I think).

I played nier automata prior to replicant and loved it. So I thought I’d give replicant a shot and it didn’t disappoint. The story and characters really get you invested in what’s going on. You must play through this game multiple times to get the whole story though but trust me it’s worth it.

excellent game, those who knew the saga by nier automata and did not have the opportunity to start with the main nier, this is a great opportunity to try it, the graphics and gameplay have improved a lot.

Game overall is not as polished as Automata and it has an older feel to it, but really great storytelling makes this a journey worth taking. I highly recommend.

If you liked nier automata you’ll probably like this as well. It’s got some graphical upgrades and some much needed quality of life changes.
