    Fairly easy to mount and setup and the picture quality is good enough to discern license plates even from a 35ft distance.

    Cameras work good, triggered mostly by pixel changes, so end up with a lot of videos, sometimes labeled human when not.. but app works good, can see what is going on at any time.

    The system was easy to set up and instal, the picture quality is great day and night. Software needs a lot of work, easy to mess entire system with the app. Accidentally deleted the account through the app, the Unit was Impossible to reset to create a new account. I called night owl customer support and emailed numerous times without success. Finally I got a hold of a tech and he told me I had to go to their online portal and read to figure it out (which I did and there was nothing about resetting the unit for a new account as it was attached to an account already) He also advised me he was on a time limit and couldn’t speak to me any longer since the issue was out of his range lol. Anyways returned the system and purchased a different brand.

Our call center agents troubleshoot the issue as best they can and escalate the ticket when needed. For password resets and login credential issues, often the agents will direct the customer to reset the account via the App or the website (just depending on their configuration).     View is clear up to about 30ft then Pixels becomes blurry. SHORT AC power cable- not weather resistant. Had to purchase extra DC wires. Set up was more complicated than it needed to be. A bit disappointing and disturbing when connecting camera to WiFi... it connected into someone else’s DVR with 7 cameras when we purchased an NVR with 4 cameras. I don’t know who’s house was but your lawn looks good...Nice Bike! Not so secure. Made me very uncomfortable.

For customers who opt for this AC Powered Wireless system, but do not have an outlet available where they desire to place a camera, we recommend using an extension cable to bridge the gap. All outdoor cameras should be placed under some type of minimal protection, such as an eave or awning, so they are not overexposed to the elements. These cameras are not waterproof, but are weather-resistant and can withstand moisture and dirt debris. Overexposing them, however, will reduce their lifespan.     Honestly, i loved the quality but the alerts to my phone are crazy. I recommend going with one that has heat sensing because every when the brightness of the sun comes in through the blinds theres a notification of my phone about "pixel change." defeats the purpose of being notified when theres action at my house if it does it for every little thing.

      Depending on the environment the cameras are installed in, some of your settings may need to be adjusted. Yes, as you noted, a bright light shining directly into the lens of the camera may cause some false alerts. For outdoor cameras, we always recommend installing them under an eave or awning and angling the cameras slightly down. This helps prevent the cameras from being overexposed to the elements and provides optimal viewing and recording. Within the Wi-Fi NVR there are some settings, such as motion sensitivity and motion detection areas, that can be adjusted to help with trouble areas.
