    the cameras look great and it is very easy to setup. for some reason, the HDD doesn't work. I have tried all the online tutorials but I can't find out why I still cant record and save in the storage when I have 2TB. I will definitely go with a different company like Dw Security.

    This is a great security system. It was super easy to set up. Easy to view online via the Night Owl app. Video quality is pretty good.

    Diy was not bad. I recommend a seasoned diyer or pro install, my roof is cramped but provided cables gave me enough to run all 6 cameras to the dvr in my living room. Ingrated power cables with video made it way easier for one cable to each camera. Good 4k video.

    Over all it is ok, but not a super fan of this model feature. This particular model does not allow you to remotely check on your property from your phone if you are out of the WiFi area. It is not listed as a compatible model for the cloud service that they have to check it remotely.

      To clarify, most of our wired DVR systems—including this 4K model—are designed for remote viewing through the Night Owl Protect app without requiring a cloud subscription. Remote access typically depends on ensuring the DVR is properly connected to the internet and the app is fully set up.

    We love our new Security system. Was easy to install. We installed it ourselves. At first we couldn't get it to work and we called night owl and they talked us through it. Easypeezee

    Live view surveillance, 24 hour recording. No subscriptions. Only thing that’s annoying is the cords but other than that the best.
