These cameras are a pretty good setup and the 2T storage is perfect. Only down side is it comes with 6 cameras rather than 8 like it's 2k 1t counter part. This product is also easy to use after you set it up. There is an app that is subscribtion free that allows you to monitor your cameras and watch what the DVR has stored and even download it. All of this also works away from home so no need to be near the DVR you just need an internet connection.

Finally hired someone to put them and and there an error message stating “Hardrive not formatted” like what does that mean because is brand spanking new 2TB MEMORY

I bought this system because it says on the box and in the specifications that it works with google home assistant. It will not connect to google home. I paid almost $500 for this and paid the installers $800 to install all 6 cameras. I don't have money like that. Now I'm stuck with something I don't want because of false advertisement. I also spent another $65 on a nest hud with google assistant. Money wasted. You people should be ashame of yourselves. Now I have to pay another $800 to have it removed andcsend it back. I guess I should stuck ring and alexa.

Quality is Great. Easy mobile access love the cameras and the live feed. They work perfect for security. Thinking of buying more or see what other products they have.

System worked well but had a problem with hard drive 22 months in. Best Buy give me a new unit right before my 2 year warranty expired. Best Buy gets 5 stars

Very confusing instructions from Night Owl & the You Tube videos are ancient & hard to muddle through. I used the existing wires with limited success. Two of the circuits are in full color at night, the other 6 aren't, but they work. Probably fewer hassles if you put in the whole system from scratch, but the kicker is needing an ethernet hookup. The older system was better. Typical American made product...very little support!!!

they are great cameras and a really good DVR but they are wired so i had to return these as i have an older house and am not willing to do drywall just for camera wires

Works great so far. Using it for putdoor hous security. Was easy to set up.

WORST camera system Ive ever owned. tried to take it back. told by best buy I missed the window to return by a few days. Night vision is blurred and images color smeared. motion is choppy at best like streaming without enough bandwidth or graphics card. There is no way to read lic plates, recognize even what kind of car it is, at night. And during the day, everything skips 40 ft and does not flow. Even the user interface does not have the fine tuning options of their earlier systems that Ive owned. only wanted to upgrade for voice and image quality. this system fails in both respects. So.. $500 dollars down the drain.

Purchased 2 of these, both work great! Very happy with performance. Excellent value when purchased on sale.

I purchased this 4K night owl system to replace my previous 2K Swan system. Very impressed with video quality. And nighttime quality is borderline amazing. My only complaint is when reviewing recorded footage you can only view one camera at a time. Shawn system would let me see four cameras at one time synchronized
