Very nice

Only one problem I hope they will fix soon is the App to view the cameras from a mobile device. It sucks-up all of the battery power in my phone and tablet with in 2.5 hours, but at the same time is works beautifully.

Very, very nice

I jut did not have the bandwidth for 3 uploading all the time. The Nightowl wired system works perfectly as advertised & the pic quality is plenty good (720). Night vision is okay, not great. Probably more like 30 ft. On a dark night; more with added ambient light. I would like to see an app update to allow pinch zoom for mobile devices. All in all, GREAT for the price - gets the job done.

However, Im glad i didnt, it turns out to be most crisp pictures and video feeds I ever seen. Everything the manufacturer offered was free or included, and I love free. Buy it see for yourself!

no owners manual in box hard to set up

Great system

I was at work and watching the cameras on my phone using the app while a contractor was at my house. I saw my "inside" cat walking down my driveway. I was able to call home and kitty is safe again.

Great equipment for the price

Bought an extra dome camera for it since installing and have found that the system works well with pretty darn clear imagery. Setup wasn't too hard for having little experience. Only thing that caught me off for a while was the time on the cameras was off by three hours, but found the time zone setting, at which time it corrected the time stamps on all existing footage.

Good moderate camera system

Ptz control port and wifi capable! (Cheaper systems are available with same ports and cams, but quality varies)

horrible times 2!

The 2nd system would not connect to the internet either and had one camera that would not see at night. After 2.5 hour wait for support they said it was bad also! Don't waste your time like i did.

Defective out of the box is not a problem we experience with any frequency, so i am sorry that it appears to have happened to you twice. There are rare instances where something is damaged during shipping, but again this is rare.
