This camera system is great for the money. Thankfully my older Samsung security cameras used the same wires that the Night Owl use, so It saved me time running wires. The connections are extremely easy, the app/DVR setup took only 5 minutes to set up, and it's been working flawlessly for about 4 months now. The app never crashes and the quality of the camera's are very clear. I would recommend this system to anyone.

Good and clear picture has where you can talk to people. My grand daughter loves the idea of being seen and I can talk to her while I am not home . Love the idea of being able to see inside and outside clear pictures

Purchased this whole system for my campground. Super easy to install and very impressed with the video and sound clarity. Great quality for the price!

I’ve had over a month using this system to leave an honest review. After my car was broken into and my wallet was stolen in my own driveway, I had to do something to feel safe. I went with this Niteowl system to monitor my entire home. It was an easy set up. After charging all the batteries, my wife and I mapped out where we wanted to position the cameras for maximum coverage of the front, side and back of our home. Mounting the cameras was super easy. I tested the system both on wi-fi and hard wired. I have to say, having the dock hardwired to the router is the way to go. Since I got the system up and running, it has not went down. The app is easy to navigate and customize. I can tap into live views from anywhere at anytime. I set the recording for any human detection and the notifications go right to both mine and my wife’s phone. Each camera also has lights you can turn on and off, an audible sound if it detects motion, as well as two-way audio. Overall, we are so glad we purchased this system. I feel like my family feels much safer and I can monitor everything happening around the house. I now have peace of mind that if anyone tries anything now, they need to smile because they’re being recorded.

The cameras are great quick and easy set up. Good quality video and set of option to customize each camera depending what you wish to use it for. However I’m giving it two stars simply because of the battery life. It states the cameras can go up to 3months with the two batteries that come with each camera in the box but within the first week I already had to charge each one twice. I purchase additional batteries to increase the battery life to the 6months that it claims they can go but so far it’s been a month and two cameras are already half way on battery and the other two are down one bar. Other than that cameras are great.

The nightowl security video surveillance system wireless and battery operated was very easy to install and configure. Do first the camera configuration next to the router and then test with the phone app that at the intended locations the wifi and security hub reception is still good. Next step is to do the actual hardware installation for the camera support brackets and the camera configuration. In order to maximize battery efficiency enable only events of interest like human detection as opposed to motion and vehicle that would generate multiple triggers in a day, do not enable the spotlight feature and use instead lights around the target areas with motion sensors to guarantee a good detection trigger by the camera. I also bought 2 additional batteries per camera to increase the lenght of time between battery recharges. Another suggestion is to purchase from Nightowl the hard drive for the security hub storage.

Expensive but works pretty well. Had to get Starlink to have them work correctly. While they are extremely clear, the batteries don’t last long and they don’t come with a charger, you have to buy that separately so just keep they in mind. That should be included for how much you pay.

It was relatively easy to set up, the batteries seem to last a good amount of time, though it might depend on your configuration in how the cameras are set up for you (movement vs human in starting the recording, movement will make it activate more). It only comes with two batteries per camera, so I would recommend getting eight more batteries, just to maximize the time between charging sessions (though you have to order those directly from the company, just FYI). You can pop the camera and batteries out of the casing to charge, makes it super easy. I might get two more just for total coverage of my property. I do recommend it for basic home security, as it was super easy to set up.

These cameras are great comes with the right amount of cameras, very clear and easy to use and set up.

For what they are advertised as, they are good cameras to have, they get the job done, 2K quality, clear shots, wish it had a wider angle, they are good for the price range. I'd recommend these.

Outstanding camera color and clarity. The camera fits into a case and pops out when you need to. When I hit the button to have it pop out the camera shot out way to fast for me to catch it. Other than that, the cameras are doing what I paid for them to do.

When Night Owl works, the video is great. However, after charging two, they stopped recording events. One is now working, the other still does not.

Best Wireless cameras - tried them all and these have the best distance for motion

battery life is not like it is mentioned to me by best buy customer service representative it dies weeks not 3 month

Easy setup, 0 monthly fees and the cameras work with usb type c solar panels. The included 64GB memory stick is more than sufficient for at least a year of recording for my situation.

i really liked this set due to ease of setup and use. u just plug the hub into your wifi router, insert some included batteries into the cameras and use the simple app to get connected. what i really enjoy is the expandability to add extra storage via an internal 2.5 drive. or even an external HDD. item includes a 64gb sdcard which is great even to just get started. ill def be adding more wire-free cams to this system. 5-stars!
