    Not the best quality of product but does the job. The software is simple and the installation piece of cake. No problems so far. You can have connection for live video on your cellphone with the app.

    We installed this outside of our house. The images are clear even at night. One of the cameras stopped working not long after installation. I appears to be a faulty camera.

    This is the 4th set of Night Owl Security Camera’s that my husband and I have purchased over the past 10 years. Each house that we live in, my husband installs the camera system himself. I recommend these to everyone. Great quality and the peace of mind seeing your home is safe....PRICELESS!!!

    I am happy I bought this. It works good. Altho it does NOT work to speak through them so that sucks, but other than that it was money well spent.

      No, the cameras included with this particular model do not have 2-way audio. But the Human Detection and Spotlights are great new features. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

    After installing everything worked great for 5 days then it didn’t. Contacted Night Owl tech customer service about the issue & initially they were very helpful over the phone. The next day things began to go downhill quickly because via e-mail Night Owl requested us on multiple days to first plug in the HDMI & then SGA cables to other monitors or TV’s. Problem was we only had the new 1080p TV we had to buy for the system that & older 720p TV’s in the house that the system doesn’t work on. So then the had me plug in the SGA cord to our computer monitor so we could tell if the DVR was working or not. After 12 e-mails back & forth with customer service they finally agreed to replace the DVR but only after we sent the bad one back. Finally after 2 weeks without a working system we got a replacement DVR that is working. Our biggest issue with Night Owl is that the initial tech we talked to & went the multiple tests of cords & the DVD he said they’d replace it. What he didn’t tell us was that the company would require the same test 4 more times via e-mail before agreeing to actually replace it. We can only hope the system will continue to work from this point on as we are past the point to be able to return it if we have to.

      Good Afternoon. For some issues, it is often more prudent to troubleshoot via phone to facilitate the testing needed. Email, is always an option, but can take longer due to how the information is relayed. Regarding sending the DVR back in... yes this is required of all customers. While there are some parts that we can ship directly under warranty, without requiring the customer to ship us anything, DVRs require additional testing on site. We are happy to hear the system is up and running after your warranty. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

    So we live in a rural area, needed something to keep an eye on the property from Possible intruders And wild animals like mountain lions etc. Husband put these up easily and They work great! They have a spot light that turns on with movement which is great and night vision to see clear at night. We love them!
