Amazing image quality, nice and compact, terrific overall landscape lends for the Nikon Z cameras.

Not going to lie, was not sure if the Z6 with 24-70 and 14-30 f4 would have replaced my D3 with 50 f1.8, 85 f1.4, 17-35 f/2.8 and other lenses. BUT it did!!! This camera and with THIS lens is super clean and sharp. With the ISO on the camera, I do not miss the two extra steps with the 2.8. If you have one of the Z cameras, and you need wide - this is your lens.

This wide angle lens is super sharp. I use it on my Z6 and am very happy with it. The nice thing about it is that it supports filters - which is rare on a wide angle lens like this.

Go to flickr and look at samples of this lens. Excellent optics. It's all true. Regret not buying it before many travels.

Great wide-angle lens and honestly, I haven't seen any difference at normal light between this F4 and the higher-priced F2.8. This is perhaps the best value for money wide-angle S lens for Z cameras. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic wide angle lens. The NIKKOR Z 14-30mm has a great focal range, especially for landscape or city photographers. It was the only lens I brought with me on a trip to Italy, and I never found myself wanting or needing a different lens. I also appreciate that this lens has a thread for filters.

I do landscape photography and this lens is great: not too big or bulky, and a good range for a wide zoom. Very sharp lens. Auto focus with a switch on the lens to focus manually. Love this lens on my Z7 II.

I shot on a 14-24 f/2.8 F-mount with my Z6 since Nikon released their mirrorless line and I feel like I'm finally enjoying shooting wide with this lens. The 14-30 is very portable and the optics are great. I mainly shoot outdoor adventure sports so a lightweight wide angle has been a game changer. I got this one on clearance for ~30% MSRP. I would strongly consider this lens if you need a wide angle. My only qualms are the barrel feels very "plastic-y" and it doesn't have a FN button.

Excellent wide angle lens for the Z cameras. The lens is very sharp edge to edge. It’s also amazing how compact and fairly light it is for travel. I have been eagerly awaiting for this lens since it’s announcement and I am thrilled to be enjoying it now. So far I think this is a must have if you enjoy the native Z system lenses like I do.

Really Happy sharpness is wow I’m not a professional and can see the difference. Friends looking at my pictures today want to buy them. So more then happy (note I do landscape obviously)

Sharp. For architecture and landscape it’s a r free eat choice. Personally I would rather have a 16-35 2.8 for versatility though. At F4 it’s really really limited to daytime only shooting, unless you don’t mind noise at low light high iso scenarios. Size is awesome, but I couldn’t get used to the twist to unlock mechanism. And wayyyyy too expensive. Returned it.

The fact that I can have a 14mm ultra wide zoom that closes itself down to a manageable size is amazing. PLUS.... can put ND filters on it without any large adapters. Great job, Nikon!

...and did not buy the Nikkor 14-35 or any non-Z lens. The optics for my Z's has been nothing less than spectacular and I could not give the Z lenses a higher rating.

I love this little lens. Maybe the new 14-24 2.8 might be a little better but I would rather have lighter weight and portability for a landscape lens.

Excellent lens for the Nikon Z line cameras. Nice focal range for landscape and capturing rocket launches at night.
