I bought my Z6 with the 24-70 f4, and will continue to use that lens in certain conditions. But I missed my 50mm prime, so grabbed this one on sale. It’s really as good as all the reviews say. I’m very happy with the purchase!

Very fast and sharp lens, good for street photography.

This is the sharpest lens that I’ve ever used. Also, it is silent and has fast AF. Honestly, I sold my legacy glass and purchased the 35mm Z lens as well. The color renditions are beautiful. I’m all in on the Z Mount lens. I will be picking up the 24mm when it comes out!

I decided to return my F mount 50mm f/1.8 lens from Nikon and go with the native Z mount. I don't regret it at all! This lens is a beast! I have shot portraits and landscapes with this lens and it shines in every setting.

I have bought this for my new Nikon Z6. This lens is much sharper than my previous owned f1.8D lens. Great blur and fantastic clarity! A must buy for kids. The feel is great too. It is bigger but not too heavy.

This lens on Nikon Z6 is awesome! Picture quality is so good. This lens was worth every penny. Small and compact yet it packs all the features needed for pros and beginners. Regular price is good but sale price is even better!

Easily my best lens amazing bokeh and it shoots pristine vids!

Image quality was superb. Smooth bokeh and excellent sharpness across the entire frame. No ghosting or CA. However, my downfall with the lens was the mechanical performance. My copy was very loud focussing. It has struggled to lock focus and pulsated alot. In my research, I saw that others did not have this issue. Just check your copy.

Literally so amazed by the auto focus on this lens. Never a soft image & even though the z5 has a lower FPS, the lenses in the Nikon Z line are so amazing, you don't even need to overshoot.

Love this new system. This lens is sharp all the way around. Even compared it to the 1.4 this lens performs a lot better. Can’t wait for Nikon to release more lens for the Z system

great lens for portrait photography very sharp and light Wight

I have never been a fan of 50mm primes, but this is my new favorite lens. It is amazing, and everybody with a Z series camera should get this lens.

A great 50mm for the Z series cameras. Much sharper, faster focusing and quieter than my Nikon 50/1.4 with the adapter. I shoot in low light, wide open, quits a bit and sharpness is excellent and the mages really pop.

This is an amazing lens, but a bit large for my taste, I would go for more compact size preferred. But it's sharp and has a great weather sealed build.

Very sharp. A big longer than other brands but light. Supposed to be the best 50 mm lens made by Nikon in the current lineup.

This lens is amazing, I put it on my nikon z50 and this thing pinches out some of the sharpest images i have ever taken!!

This is one of the best and sharpest nifty fifty glass I have used. Very fast and beautiful bokeh. It out performs the f1.2 I own. I bought because I wanted the s mount and I am happy I did.
