    The best value z lens, especially compared to its cousin the 50 f/1.2. You get 95% of the performance for 25% of the price. I use the lens on my Z9.

    This lens does not work on contrasting subjects. If a photo is taken where there are two objects in the frame, one is light and other darker the photo has no definition. Also, at 64 ISO and F1.8 the photo is awful. The useable range is F4-F8. The apertures produce a blurry photo.

    I bought it with a warranty. I lost the hood almost immediately, and Nikon refused to send me a new one. That's not what I call "good quality".
